What does Lost Loot Machine do in Borderlands 4?
Can you filter rarities in the lost looting?
The lost loot will automatically collect looting that you found in chests or those dropped on the floor of either yourself or from enemies and think that you have accidentally left it behind. Players will have to visit the lost looting machine manually to clear it, because when it is full it will no longer take any prey. This means that players can miss legendary equipment that may have fallen off a cliff if the lost looting machine was full at that time. As such, it is best to venture to areas with a lost loot machine to empty it before you do some farming or adventure, as it is always nice to just sell what is worthless in the lost looting or choose all as rubbish to rub it.
Unfortunately, you cannot filter different rarities in the Lost Loot machine. This means that you cannot set the Lost Loot machine in a way that means it will only retrieve legendary objects or specifically shields. However, the lost looting can be upgraded to a maximum of 14 slots with the SDU tokens. Unfortunately, the Lost Loot machine will pick up what takes a place first, which means you can get a common article to take a place while you want it to be reserved for a legendary, but it does not work that way.
