Diablo 4's best class will continue their reign in season 10

Then the release of Diablo 4S Spiritborn vessel's vessels have been Spiritborn an overwhelming force in methane. Each season seems to give Spiritborn's new tools to further strengthen their kit and make it a class for players who want to optimize their runs of final content such as the Artify's Pit and the Lair Boss ladder. From the appearance of it, Diablo 4 Season 10 will also not buck this trend and set Spiritborn for success before the season has even begun.

During season 9, Spiritborn received the meta-defining Balazan Maxtlatl Unique, which enabled the class to take advantage of its tower state by dealing with further damage scaling with the player's towers and affects toxic damage over time with each consecutive attack. This unique became the point of contact for many of Spiritborn's best Diablo 4 Season 9 builds, with the versatility to fit into a variety of building archetypes. Balazan's Maxtlatl looks largely unchanged on the way to Season 10, and the addition of new chaos armor and chaos benefits can mean that Spiritborn has more tools to work with than ever before.

Looking at the balance changes from Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR, Spiritborn has gained some solid buffs for skills that make up some of the class's best buildings. It is not clear if these changes will stand when the final note notes for Diablo 4 Season 10 release, but as it stands, a couple of key skills have received buffs:

  • Crushing hand

    • Earlier: Creates 2 shock waves on either side that overlap and handles 50% injuries each

    • Now: deal 100% damage each

  • Rake

    • Earlier: Kingla chlorine that shaves through enemies in front of you and handles 30% damage before exploding for an additional 45% damage

    • Now: Manages 40% injury before exploding for an additional 60% injury

In addition to the buffs to these skills, Spiritborn's most important passive harmful resonance has been reworked, probably for the better. Now, critically striking an enemy is causing poisoning to disseminate and handle 300% of the poisoning damage directly, while only 180% of the poisoning damage was previously treated. However, the balance is that the explosives made on surrounding enemies have decreased from 20% to 10%. Nevertheless, this seems like a fair trade that ultimately improves the most important passive, especially for individual fights against Diablo 4S lair managers.

Spiritborn's rebounding aspect has also been buffered, which increases the damage made by Quill Volley from 35-55% to 50-70% and made Quill Volley Spiritborn even stronger than before.

Spiritborn seems to have avoided significant nerfer in season 10

While Spiritborn is capable of getting some Nerfs in season 10, none of them probably seems to affect methane. The most disappointing NERF is the reduction of Quill Volley's damage from 26% to 20%, but this is negligible even in all five sticks that the skill launches. It is still possible that Spiritborn could see some more significant nerves before the beginning of season 10, but so far it looks favorable for the class.

Chaos armor seems to be made for Diablo 4's Spiritborn

The addition of chaos armor in Diablo 4 Season 10 is already a change of game on its own, which means that unique can appear in gears where they cannot usually be found. But Spiritborn is mostly gaining from this new feature, given that much of Spiritborn's equipment is simply outdated because there are better unique available in a given place. As a result, Spiritborn players should be able to take advantage of new combinations of unique that are not possible before.

For example, Kepepeke's bar has been one of Spiritborn's best weapons in principle since it was released. Now that it can be shown in the pool with chaos unique, players can potentially have the bar for Keppeke's unique fortress on a armor piece, leaving room for another unique weapon like Wushe Nak PA to be used instead. Powerful headgear such as Harmony from Ebewaka and Loyalty's Mantle will also be in Chaos Armor Pool, so players can potentially use them while running the mythical heir to a perdition on Spiritborn for a truly scary gear set.
