Magic: The collectionThe Spider-Man set will be released in just over three weeks now, and with most cards that are still not announced at the moment, there is a good chance that it will affect methane in different formats. Yet the predecessor put a high bar to clear, as Final fantasy Sales were over $ 200 million just that day the set came out. Not only that, but several cards from the FF set continued to become a game change for TCG, as Magic: The collectionVivi Ornitier terrorizes the standard format. Three different Final fantasy The cards are still good, but their impact has been most noticeable in a format: commander.
Commander is often called the face on Magic: The collection For several reasons, such as the sale of Commander Products, how committed fans are with the format, the fact that it is a multiplayer setting rather than the usual 1v1 scenario and the fact that it can be relatively easy to come in with precon tires. But the predecessors are rarely good on their own, so you can either upgrade them or use them as a starting point for more complex commanders. For those who want to do Final fantasy-Temed tires, three cards are perfect for it because they can scale all the way to CEDH (competitive commanders). They are:
-
Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruin Ruler
-
Terra, magic adept // esper terra
-
The wandering minstrel
How MTG's Kefka Commander Decks works
Kefka, Court Stomach, is a powerful commander because of its Grixi's color identity (blue, black and red) and its ability to become a drag engine while each player throws. This can be very strong on its own as it means that opposite players will have to discard some of their cards if Kefka is left without supervision, and the user can discard valuable combinations to later retrieve them with the master called underworld, especially if it is combined with Lion's Eye Diamond to create Infinite Mana and then win the game.
In lower power brackets, Kefka can work as a combination deal for waste not, an enchantment that causes the user to create a 2/2 zombie token every time an opponent discoves a card, which can be each time Kefka attacks or enters. To further enable this, you can play cantrips and shift cat, create an army of zombie creatures while emptying the hands of all opponents.
MTG's Wheel of Fortune or other effects that make opponents throw one or more cards will often make the user “Archenemy” in the table.
How MTG's Terra Commander Decks works
Like Kefka, Terra, Magical Adept's main strategy is to self -conform shortly from the deck to fill the cemetery. This can then be used in combination with underworking and Lion's Eye Diamond after storming brain freezing, but it can also find success with a food chain combo or the usual Thassas Oracle + demonic consultation.
In non-cedh tires, Terra can be played with lots of different enchantments to focus on it as the most important Win-Con. This includes the different Final fantasy Tune in MtgThe many enchantments in the game, or game -changing cards such as Sythis, Harvest's hand, which is an enchantment creature in itself and allows players to draw a card and have a life when playing an enchantment.
Terra, Magical Adept is a Wubg commander because its back, Esper Terra, all have five colors.
How MTG is the mandatory Minstrels commander works
MtgThe wandering minstrel tires are interesting because they can completely lose the master's second and third abilities, and instead focus on the fact that countries play unused. This makes it extremely strong for land loops in CEDH, often in combination with many powerful self -freezing countries such as barbaric ring or combination pieces such as Hall of the Bandit Lord and Hermit Druid with sub -world offenses.
Even in CEDH, this can be a relative budget alternative because you can play many countries in tires to get them with Ad Nauseam, and the tire does not necessarily need all the best, old double countries. Landfall combinations, land manipulation for all players as extra country per turn, playing countries from the cemetery and the destruction of masses in this type of tire. The Wandering Minstrel is a highly adaptable command in MtgAnd it can work with several gaming routes.
