During the Gamescom Opening Night Live, Capcom and Square Enix collaborated to announce that two of their biggest games, Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy 14would have a mutual cooperation event later this year. In connection with the launch of its third title update, the companies revealed that Monster Hunter Wilds would get a lot of brand new Final Fantasy 14-Temed content in September. The content will not only contain a Chocobo-inspired cosmetic skin for the game's Seicret brackets, it will also contain a special cactus and a large story assignment involving Final Fantasy 14 Superboss, Omega Planes.
A few weeks after the first cooperation event comes out, Final Fantasy 14 will also get some special content, inspired completely by Monster Hunter Wilds. In early October, players that complete the game Grill trail Expansion will be able to face Wilderness“The most prominent monster, Arkveld, during a trial struggle. In addition, they will also be able to get some Seikret brackets in the game. While the content shown in these two crossover events seems quite exciting, it feels like Collab for Monster Hunter Wilds would have been much better if it contained monsters from another Final fantasy Games instead.
Final Fantasy 14 Players will need to reach LV. 100 to put on the Arkveld Raid fight.
Monster Hunter Wilds should have collaborated with FF16 instead of FF14
Final Fantasy 16 has some of the best monster designs and managers in the franchise
The Final fantasy Franchise has no shortage of amazing stylish animals that would feel at home in a Monster hunter video game. But if there is a new partial payment in the series that stands head and shoulders over the rest in this regard, it is without doubt, Final Fantasy 16. Was released exclusively on PlayStation 5 in 2023, FF16 Was a pretty split game in many respects. While the game itself received a largely positive reception among critics, some players were upset about it because of its simplified combat system, uneven stimulation and mostly boring side assignments. That said, the manager is fighting in the game almost received universal praise from both players and critics.
Final Fantasy 16Boss -fighting is mainly the embodiment of the phrase, “style over substance”. They may not be so complex from a game point of view, but they are so spotted and extravagant that they still provide some of the most memorable experiences in Final fantasy Franchise as a whole. In the case of enemies apart from the managers, some of the usual monsters in Final Fantasy 16 is also in the same way impressive. While many of Final Fantasy 16Animals, such as the morbol, Coeurl and Ahriman, have previously appeared in others Final fantasy Titles, this game's versions of the characters are undoubtedly some of the most distinct in the series yet.
Clive Rosfield should have been added to MH Wilds, just as Geralt was added to MH: World
Not just would Final Fantasy 16Monsters fits perfectly in Monster Hunter WildsBut the game's main character, Clive Rosfield, would also fit well. Considering how many animals he wraps in FF16Clive is basically a monster hunter in everyone except names, so it would make sense to add him as a playable character in Capcom's latest RPG. While some may think it would be unusual for Capcom to have a protagonist from another franchise in a Monster hunter Games, it is important to note that the company has already done so already before.
In 2019, Capcom collaborated with Polish developer CD Project Red to add Geralt by Rivia, the main character in The Witcher 3: Wild Huntto Monster Hunter: World As part of a crossover event. This free DLC, which was introduced in Patch 6.0, contained a whole new assignment where players could play as Geralt himself and meet against enemies from Hitches franchise. If Capcom and Square Enix had been hosting one Final Fantasy 16 cooperation Monster Hunter Wilds instead of one Final Fantasy 14 First, they could have added Clive Rosfield in a similar way. Unfortunately, however, it seems that it will not happen at any time soon.
