Battlefield 6 has already caught the eye of fans who skipped the battlefield in 2042

It is safe to say that Battlefield 6's cinematic revealing trailer has already made a splash.

The two -minute video contained explosions, a loose sense of story and more explosions. Although many players can dismiss a spotted movie Trailer without any game, it has been more than enough leaks from the ongoing Battlefield Labs Playtest to give everyone an idea of what they can expect from the upcoming game.

Old fans or new?

Fans seem to be excited, and according to Alinea Analytics, the series can get many old fans back. According to the data, Battlefield 6 has already recorded over 500,000 wish lists on Steam since announcing the trailer. Interestingly, 40 percent of these players do not own Battlefield 2042.

There are clearly many fans who return from Battlefield 2042, but what about the other 40 percent? These are players who either skipped Battlefield 2042 or are brand new in the series.

There is a general feeling within society that Battlefield 6 can be a “return to form” for the series, with some playing players comparing the gaming experience with the heyday of Battlefield 4, which was released over a decade ago, but not all are convinced.

One of the most famous aspects of Battlefield 6, which is widespread in both the cinematic trailer and the Playtest images, is the emphasis on fully destroying environments. The idea of getting a new map explode and is gradually crumbling when a game continues is as convincing as it has ever been.

This is also fed into the immersion aspect of Battlefield, which was missing in 2042. If you play as an infantry, you should be able to feel the chaos of the battlefield, with visceral explosions and air support passing over your head.

The cinematic trailer provided a certain context for the war that forms the basis for Battlefield 6: Dissatisfied former NATO states have funded a paramilitarian company called Pax Armata that is now fighting with the rest of NATO.

A complete multiplayer reveal will be broadcast on July 31, which gives us further contexts about what we can expect from the upcoming shooter.
