For a game that the fans waited for a decade to play, Kingdom Hearts 3 likes to stop. You will spend hours playing watered down Disney sites before the main history remembers it. Each world felt more like a detour than a real part of the story, which adds Runtime without really meant anything.

And just when the action finally kicks in, it loosens a flood by Lore that is impossible to follow if you have not played every spin-off. It is beautiful and polished, safe, but it is constantly testing your patience.

Final Fantasy 13

Final Fantasy 13 is legendary for its hall -like structure, but the real crime is how long it takes to open. You are easily 20 hours before you get any real freedom. The fight is stylish but mostly on autopilot during much of that time, and the game continues to tease bigger things that never really land.

Even when it opens, it throws you in a barren over the world full of monster hunting and not much else. It is not the worst RPG ever made, but it is definitely one of the most inflated.

Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The world is massive, wonderful and impressively detailed, but also full of nothing. Xenoblade Chronicles X requires a serious time investment just to get around, and even more if you want to unlock a Skell (MECH costume), which the game teases early but holds back for too long.

Assignments often feel repetitive, and the story is buried during pick -up assignments and opaque menus. It is a game that can be 40 hours shorter and lose absolutely nothing of value.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Here is a classic case of side content that has gone wild. The inland alone is enough to tear new players and attract you to a massive zone full of boring pick -up assignments and busy. The campaign itself is strong, but it is buried for hours with any content that feels anything but optional if you try to level up.

Yes, it's nice. Yes, the music bangs. But Persona 5 Royal pulls out to an almost absurd length. Between the social SIM segments, Dungeon Crawling, and added content from Royal Edition, this game watches in just over 100 hours.

Much of that time is spent on repetitive conversations and teaches you mechanics that do not need as much explanation. It is a fantastic game, but it also desperately needs an editor with a red pen and a feeling of urgent.

Star field

Starfield promised the stars and gave us … loaded screens. This is a game that is obsessed with menus and quick trips. Do you want to explore a planet? Recharge. Do you want to board your ship? Recharge. Despite its massive reach, Starfield feels strangely small. Most of your time is spent on navigating interface layers and jumping between lifeless outposts.

The game hides its best content behind dozens of hours with uninspired assignments, resource grinding and warehouse debt. It is not about space exploration. It is about bureaucracy in space suits.

Octopath Traveler 2

Charming on the surface, boring wonders. Octopath Traveler 2 gives you eight characters, each with their own story, and expect you to play them all. The problem is that the structure never develops. Each chapter feels the same: new city, new manager, the same formula.

There is hardly any interaction between the characters, which makes the long hours feel disconnected. The battle is deep, yes, but it is also slow and repeatedly repeated. You will meet the 60-hour brand and wonder when the party will finally feel like one.

Killer's Creed Valhalla

Right now it's more RPG than stealth games, and it's very long. Valhalla floods you with content from the beginning, much of it feels like fillers. Each region has the same checklist of the goals, and the story carries thin long before the credits roll (which can take 100 hours).

It is not uncommon to spend 20 minutes watching calls about dinner or vague philosophical dilemma before moving again.
