The number of games released over the past fifty years is completely massive. Although not all games can stand out, there have been literally thousands of games that have found a strong subsequent, or were just massive hits loved by the public. The thing is that even these games can get lost in the mixture and forgot. And these are the games I am here to talk about.

10 Best 90 -Tales Arcade Games
The 1990s had some fantastic arcade games.
Now some franchises, like Mega Man or Castlevania, live in the periphery. Although “live” can be a dissatisfaction, because they are not really alive, but not really dead. But people are still aware of their existence. You get collections for them, they will be referred to in other games, they still linger. We're not talking about these games. This is a list of the games that affected and then seemingly disappeared in smoke. Crouch!

Nba -jam
The king of the arcades was reduced to paups
You wouldn't know about these days, but NBA JAM was huge. Under the height of the arcade's relevance, the NBA Jam was among the most popular games. In fact, it is one of the highest large arcade games ever. It brought in two billion dollars in revenue. It is not even adjusted for inflation. Pacman? Donkey Kong? Mortal Kombat? They were not even near To that.
Not only did the NBA Jam kill it in the arcades, but it was released on every console that existed in the 90s (which was still alive when the NBA Jam launched, at least). This was height of pick-up-and-play arcade sports titles, when people played sports games even if they didn't care about sports because they were fair fun. But unfortunately, even though they are completely massive on their day, the people have forgotten the NBA jam. It burned, now it has been rejected.
Another similar example of a massive Arcadey sports game forgotten is the once -loved NFL Blitz.

Maximo vs. Army of zin
From glory to a ghost
Maximo vs Army of zin

September 18, 2003
After Playstation, and its stylish polygonal graphics, met the stage, a number of publishers desperately tried to re -form their classic 3D franchise. Outside Nintendo, these attempts usually vacated. But then there is the Maximo franchise: the spiritual successor to Ghosts' n Goblins -Franchise. Two of these games were made for PS2, and both were fantastic. They played well, had a charming aesthetic and even translated the crushing difficulty into the new titles.
Hell, you still went down to your undies after taking too many hits. If you wondered how they were received, both Maximo games were praised by reviewers. In terms of sales, well, we know first Game became a biggest hit title, so it definitely moved copies. However, we do not have any information about the army of Zin's sales. Given that the third game was interrupted the middle of the development, we can probably assume that it did not light the world on fire. Still, it is shocking how fast these titles were buried. Capcom doesn't even mention Maximo today. Hopefully we will see Maximo crawling out of the grave one of these days: heart -patterned underwear and everything.

BREATH OF FIRE: Dragon Quarter
Dragon drawn and quarter
The Breath of Fire franchis is another Capcom that seemed to be forgotten. I think this is a bit of a softer post on this list, because fans certainly remember the spirit of fire games, but when time goes by there are fewer and fewer of us. Time is a cruel mistress. Dragon Quarter was an extremely brave entry into the franchise, and it was sharing at the publication, but it was still pretty good despite that.

The 19 best JRPGs in the PS2 era
JRPG is alive and good. But there were only so many of them for PS2.
So Dragon Quarter, and its division must have sold poorly then, right? Actually, it didn't. It was a great success in Japan and qualified for their version of the biggest hits. Even it sold it well, it may not have fulfilled internal forecasts. What happened next is that Capcom released a bad Japanese-exclusive Gacha 2015 entitled Breath of Fire 6. Now the series seems to be dead and the world has moved on. I just hope we will see the dragon reborn again one day.
Neutralized by time
Metal Gear Acid duology was a pair of metal gambling that contained turn-based, stealth-oriented, tire-building, tactical JRPG games. I know there is a lot to process, but the end result was pretty good. While the first acid game provided the bedrock, it was Acid 2 that really took things to the next level. It came packed with a distinct cell -shaded aesthetics and a vigorous Extended number of available cards – which allows for one incredible Level of building variation.
Metal Gear Acid 2 was also well received. It was seen as a big step forward for the series and was praised by critics at that time*. Although he served this, however, the metal gearbox games have been lost in time. PSP was a moderate success in the West, and the games found in a niche within a niche were obstacles to massive to overcome. Which is a shame, as these are some of the finest Metal Gear games ever released.
*Some reviewers kicked up a hassle because the acid games did not play as Metal Gear Solid, and a few reviewers did not like it to be a tire builder, but these reviews were in a minority, and sincerely, a game would be another game to always be a worthless criticism.

SSX (2012)
A total erasure
While Tony Hawk Pro Skater series finally gets new titles again after spending a decade in limbo, SSX, shocking, has completely forgotten. It is fair to say that 2012's SSX is not the best game in the series. As the seventh generation had a tendency to do, they removed much of the color from the game, which gave us something that looked relatively boring. Although it was not an SSX3-like masterpiece, SSX (2012) was still a fantastic game.

10 sports games that deserve restarts or reworking
We are ready for another round of these sports games.
It was still an excellent Arcadey Sports title. And while that Where Criticated at that time for losing part of the charm, it was still well examined. For hello, even a somewhat boring SSX is a hell of a good time. From what I could dig up seems publicly available information means that SSX was also not a sales bomb. However, this would be the last thing we would hear about SSX. EA has not said much since, and when it comes to 2012, yes, even the SSX fans out there seemed to have forgotten that it was ever released.
I didn't want to fill this list of snowboarding, but what the hell happened to cool pensioners and 1080 too? Why did we stop getting snowboarding?

Diddy Kong Racing
Diddy never returned from his Kong mission
Mario Kart flourishes, Crash Team Racing has had a great new recording and Sonics Racing series is hopefully on track to recover some of its lost glory. The map racing scene feels like it is in a good place. But what about? Other Big Kart Racer on N64? How about Diddy Kong Racing? Diddy Kong Racing not only did the different map types on the road before Mario and Sonic, but it made it better. Here you choose the map type before the race, which opens unique roads.
This is also a map -racer where object pickups are not randomly, and you can collect several of the same weapons type to level them out. So cool! Oh, and you know how fans continue to complain for guest characters in Mario Kart World? Well, Diddy Kong Racing had Conker and Banjo. All this made Diddy Kong compete into an immediate classic … which Nintendo and its fans have largely forgotten. Do you know what is tangled? The closest to recognizing Diddy Kong Racing is Diddy's absence from Mario Kart Games.
Diddy Kong Racing got a DS remake, but anyone who was not really forgotten, as it was never known in the first place.

Rayman Legends
Even legends can be forgotten
On a list of puzzling forgotten games, Rayman Legends is easily one of the most confusing. Rayman Legends was universally loved. It was released on each console, even transferred to Switch a full four years after the first release on the seventh generation of consoles. The information we have suggests that they sold almost five million copies. Yet, when is the last time you have heard Ubisoft talk about the franchise? When did you last hear someone talk about these games?
What happens here? Rayman Legends is possibly the best game that Ubisoft was directly responsible for. It is among the best platform players ever created. Although it did not sell expectations initially, it eventually sold more than any Rayman game before that. Still, this classic feels like it is lost to time. Evaporating in front of our eyes. Oh god, His arms and legs are already gone. Quickly, we have to spread the word before the rest of him disappears!

Fight Night Champion
Down for the bill
Boxing is a curious sport. While it saw a decline in popularity during the 2000s, it still contained mega stars, and still, to this day, has maintained a prominent position as one of the most popular sports globally. Still, there are almost no new boxing games. Which is odd, as there used to be several big franchises. None of them were as big as Fight Night. And no fight night game was as well received as the Fight Night Champion.
With a well -received career mode, who saw players put the gloves on like Andre Bishop, a boxer who wants to get up through the trail. And the story is … excellent? It is well acted, convincing and pulls you into the experience. It also sold two million copies. So it was not a bomb, even though it sold less than the previous items in the series, so EA bumped silently from the franchise. There are still some real out there, but most players seem to have forgotten the Fight Night Champion.
But let's leave this list on a high tone. Taken have indicated that they may be interested in reviewing the franchise. So who knows? Maybe Andre Bishop will do a new run for the belt. And maybe players will remember the champion and put some respect on the Fight Night Champion name. It deserves to be under the bright lights, not lost in the dark.
