Meanwhile, FROMSoftware has tweacked solo expeditions to make them simpler and more balanced.
While celebrating 3.5 million sales, FROMSoftware announced that the Elden Ring Nightreign will receive a Duos option “at a later date” this year.
It has been a very sought -after function even before the game was launched and was a gathering point in many of the opening reviews, which pulled Nightreign down to a “mixed” steam score on the first day. FROMSoftware later apologized, with director Junya Ishizaki who explained that it was “overlooked” when the team was attached to balancing solo and trio-peditions.
In addition to DLC released later this year, new additions will be gradually implemented, including improved fights against existing nightlines that begin this month.
But even before the announcement of a dedicated Duos option, Nightreign cluttered a “mostly positive” point. With corrections that are already being rolled out to deal with feedback, and with duos in progress, it looks like from Software has won back some goodwill, although many players are still upset over the lack of platform support.
Solo is also re -balanced
But if you would rather go alone, Froftware also has tweaky solo expeditions. Just yesterday, a patch rolled out that facilitated a single player and implemented the “automatic revival in defeat” effect at the beginning of each solo expedition, while the increased number of runes acquired from defeated enemies.
It is a start, but many still claim that solo needs further work. Although it is easier to level up and enemies have less HP, you still have a serious disadvantage. Some managers like Gladius (the first nightlord) are designed with Trios in mind, divide into three, and you do not have teammates to get you back. Sure, you can buy a Wending Grace before each night list, but it is a resuscitation versus as many as your allies can.
But with the duos on the horizon and “new additions” promised for later this year, it is looking for Nightreign after a rocky start.
