Square Enix and Wizards of the Coast announced earlier this year that Final fantasy The series would go over with Magic: The collection For the first time ever in the history of the card game. The cards in this crossover will be part of a completely ejectable, standard-law set, which will be accompanied by four used commanders. Rumors indicate that a Final Fantasy 9 remake is under development
In recent years it has been reported that Square Enix is working on a new recording of Final Fantasy 9The hit -based JRPG on PS1. Final Fantasy 9 are, as many perhaps, one of the most beloved titles in the entire series, up there with such as Final Fantasy 7. Even if Final Fantasy 9 Got a remaster on modern platforms a few years ago, that version of the game was essentially exactly the same as its original counterpart. The lack of an MTG commander for FF9's rumored remake seems to be a missed opportunity
If Square Enix really works with a new recording of Final Fantasy 9it would have been meaningful for the company to release one Mtg Commander Deck based on the game as part of its collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, especially considering this year is FF925 anniversary. However, it seems that the company is not interested in doing this, which is a bit disappointing.
