Characters that should have died in bleach

WhitenThe author's, Tite Kubo, is really not afraid to kill a character if he thinks it is necessary for the story. But there are still some selected soul reapers, arrancar and quincy who somehow managed to avoid what seemed like some death. Since this is a shōnen anime series, it is expected that characters can take lots of punishment without being killed, but having someone fall into battle can still help to raise history's efforts and intensity when done right.

It is clear that when Whiten Was still ongoing, Kubo made sure to protect the characters who had become fan favorites, but in retrospect, maybe some deaths may not have been the worst decision in the world for some reason. With Whiten Manga officially in the end, and the millennial blood war Anime reaches its conclusion, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on the characters that should probably have bitten the dust sometime in the story.

Hiyori Sarugaki

How Hiyori survived to be sliced ​​in two, fans can only wonder

• First appearance: Section 112

Compared to her colleagues Vizards, Hiyori comes over so much less scary and dangerous, even though he is still a capable fighter. During the first quincy invasion of the Soul Society, Byakuya is destroyed by sternrites called as nod after stealing and uses the captain's own Bankai against him. Both anime and manga show that Byakuya's body is destroyed after the attack, so much that he can barely talk to Ichigo after he has appeared to learn what has happened.

Fans have long speculated that Byakuya would die here, but after realizing how popular he was, Kubo decided to send him to Squad 0's Hot Springs so he could be healed. If Byakuya had kicked the bucket here, it would have made Rukia's meeting with so much more emotional when trying to revenge her late brother, but it would also have shown how powerful Quincy really is in battle.

Izuru Kira

Izurus' death would have served as a frightening introduction to the Sternriter Army

• First appearance: Section 21

Almost as soon as sternlritter begins its first attack on the Soul Society, Izuru, Lieutenant in Squad 3, has its right arm blasted by the body of Bazz-B, apparently from nowhere. With a look of shock on everyone's faces, Izuru falls to the ground, which makes fans think he is one of Quincy's very first victim in their relentless attack.

Surprisingly, Izuru returns a little later to help the soul reap the remains of Lille Barro, and although it is an epic scene, it seems a bit pointless given that he is just a side character. His death would have served as a great indication of the reckless nature of Yhwach's sternlrites even before showing their real forces and abilities.

Ceiling

Chad came close to death several times, but was never taken out for good

“I can't even imagine Chad's losing” is a notorious quote from Ichigo that has become a popular meme among fandom because of how ridiculous it is within the framework of history. Not only does Chad lose most of his battles, but he is often completely humiliated by his opponents, who are always much stronger than he is. An excellent example of this is his duel with Shunsui, which flattens Chad without even breaking sweat.

A more incredible example is Chad's meeting with Nnoitra, who is in a main position to kill him, but decides not to. Of course, it may be risky to kill a member of the lead role, but having Chad Die would have done a lot for Ichigo's development, because he realizes that he cannot save everyone, no matter how hard he tries. It may even have encouraged him to embrace his hollow forces even more than he already does, for better or worse.

Grimmjow Jaegejaquez

The end of Grimmjow and Ichigo's second battle felt like the perfect time to end arrancar's story

During their epic final battle, however, Grimmjow's backstory as “the King” in his packaging shows a slightly different page than the dangerous arranium, and when Ichigo is landing the final strike, it is clear from Grimmjow's face that he accepted his defeat.

Surprisingly, Grimmjow not only survives this impact from a hyper -driven Ichigo but also remains alive after being beaten by a strong finishing from Nnoitra. It is definitely nice to see Grimmjow come back in the last bow, but it feels like he bits the dust back in Hueco Mundo would have given a nice way to close the book on this guy.

Rose

Rose is completely overwhelmed by the holeous giant known as mask the masculine

Mask de masculine is a sternriter who loves nothing but crush its opponents to a bloody mass with its wide range of hard -striking wrestling movements. Mask is so strong that he could launch Kensei through several buildings with a single place, but when Rose releases his Bankai, it seems that the vizard can actually have a chance to take him down for good.

What stops happening, however, is that Rose is completely embarrassed by mask after the latter bursts his eardrums, so he can't hear the tunes Rose uses to control his opponents. After shooting a star -shaped blast through Rose's chest, it seemed as if the captain was down for the bill, but he managed to stay alive in a miraculous way despite how much damage he had taken.

Rangiku Matsumoto

Rangiku goes by one of the nastiest injuries in the series

Rangiku has proven to be a lieutenant who is more than capable of keeping his own in an intense struggle, but when face to face with the horrible mutant known as Ayon, she quickly realized that she had no chance to stand up against Behoth. In manganese, half of Rangicus's upper body is removed with a moment during this short meeting, which puts the second world force of Ayon on full screen.

This is undoubtedly one of the most goriest panels in the entire manganese, and while Anime tones it a bit, it is still clear that Raniguku is suffering from a life -threatening injury anyway. However, Rangiku comes back up upwards not long after, although her case in battle may have been a good way to show how naizen Aizen's troops once sit on a goal.

Momo Hinamori

It is honestly astonishing how much punishment that Momo has taken in the series, even though it is a rather insignificant side character. Momo was used as a farmer by Aizen during the Soul Society, and after his storage she would collide swords with more than a few lieutenants and captains and even became a knife -headed through the chest of Aizen a little later.

Momo's torment did not end there, as she again became stabbed during the battle over the city of Karakura, this time by her childhood friend, Hitsugaya, which had been deceived by Aizen's illusions. Given many characters in the series, it has died of much less, it is puzzling how Momo managed to do it through all this punishment without even being captain.
