Since December 2020, Niantic has released seasonal updates for Pokemon GoWhich works in the same way as other Gaa's titles. They have new events, Pokemon debuts and other types of content that all follow a specific theme.
The eighteenth and last season of Pokemon GoWith the title Might and Mastery, began on March 4, 2025 and is scheduled to end on June 3rd. Pokemon Go Leak teases big new features
The latest Pokemon Go leak suggests that the game can add a large new feature at some point in the near future.
The legendary Pokemon Urshifu debuts Pokemon on May 21
Pokemon Go fans will have the ability to develop their cubfus into two different types of Urshifus
Urshifu, for those who do not already know, is a pokemon of combat type introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield games as part of their Island armor expansion. It is one of the few legendary Pokémon with an evolutionary line, and it is also the only legendary Pokémon that has a gigantamax form. Unlike his Kubfu procedure, Urshifu has two distinct special forms: the only strike style and the fast strike style. The SSS form transforms Urshifu into a fight/dark double-type Pokemon, while RSS one transforms it into a battle/water type.
Normally in the main line Pokemon Games, players must get some objects known as rolling of darkness and rolling water to get Urshifu to develop into the shape they want. However, in Pokemon GoUrshifu's evolutionary process will not work this way. After Urshifu was added to the game on May 21, players must receive 200 Kubfu candy and defeat 30 Dark type or water type Pokemon with Cubfu in their party. Depending on the types of Pokémon they beat, Kubfu will develop into either a single strike style Urshifu or a quick strike style Urshifu.
Kubfu and Urshifus seasonal special research history will be free for all players until the end of the Might and Mastery update on June 3.

From May 21 to May 27, during the time meetings for some Pokémon will be raised.
