Bethesda just dropped a whole new downfall: The Dark Ages Trailer and gave us a better look at Doomslayers Arsenal.
-
The highlight was superior to BFG, or really BFC. To complement the fantasy background, it is now an elbow, but it is as devastating as ever.
-
We see that it fires a green -colored bolt at a horde of enemies and turns them into pasta while we send the straws flying in all directions.
In front of Doom: The Dark Ages launch next month, Bethesda released an action-packed trailer showing the medieval Arsenal of Doomslayer in all its Gory detail. And held to the end, shortly after the giant Kaiju fights with large demons, is a reveal that we have all been waiting for – BFG.

Or, I guess I should say, BFC, because it's a big Fu ** ing crossbow. Just as in previous games, it emits a huge green energy ball that develops enemies in a hail of lightning strikes and sends body parts flying in all directions.
We must not see much of the BFC-9000 (or whatever it is called) in the trailer, but the flashing and you-miss-it says more than enough. Even a hell-bound doomslayer, which is stuck with old medieval equipment, has found room for the series' staples and turns a regular elbow into a weapon that can shred throughout hordes.
Each weapon is confirmed for downfall: the dark ages
With just a few weeks left, we have a pretty good idea of what Doomslayer will use to rip and tear into this long -awaited prequel. There is Super Shotgun, a staple since 1994, the already iconic Boomerang shield, a skull crusher that turns legs into bullets, the plasma gun (a cornerstone then og), a loops and a nail gun that would feel at home in Quake.
But in the new trailer we also got to see a Gothic RPG decorated with a flaming eye skull; a painkillers-esque chaingun that fires a giant metal ball; And of course the big fu ** ing the gun itself.
