Over the years Assassin's Creed Franchise has experimented with its attitude towards main characters. The first games followed a fairly standard action adventure model. Assassin's Creed Unity Tried to give more of a co-op experience, and the RPG titles have given players several protagonists to check during their trip. The last route would not have been possible without Assassin's Creed Syndicate Blazing that track, but with Assassin's Creed ShadowsUbisoft has taken the double protagonist to new heights.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate Be the first of its kind, as it lets players switch between Evie and Jacob Frye throughout their adventure. That feature was then transferred to OriginAlthough one main character was controlled much more than the other, while Odysse and Valhalla Gave players a choice between two characters that they then checked for the entire trip. Now, Assassin's Creed Shadows have taken back the two main characters to how it was in SyndicateWhich makes a pretty exciting story. Unlike SyndicateThese two main characters could not be more different than each other, which acts as a fantastic rate of roof for the franchise.
Family
Assassin's Creed Shadows Flashbacks is a double -edged sword
Assassin's Creed Shadows has a variety of flashbacks in both its main and optional content, and their placement is a bit of a double -edged sword.
AC shadows and syndicate are two sides of the same coin
AC Syndicate lays the foundation for the two main characters
After Ubisoft dabbed the co-op-side of things with Assassin's Creed Unitydecided to bring back the franchise to a more standard action with the release of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Instead of just checking a protagonist, players could actually play two distinct characters; Frye -Tvörningarna. Evie represented the standard murder focusing on stealth, while Jacob was about taking down his enemies with Brute Force. At the end of the day, their game was relatively similar, but their differences really shine in their personalities and writing. Both make an exciting adventure, where their relationship is a real highlight.
Because they are twins spent the duo a lot Syndicate working with each other. Jacob's primary goal was to liberate London's districts from Templar-powered gangs, while Evie wanted to find the powerful oath who lived in London. Both goals adapted to each other, and they spent much of the game allied with each other. There were times when they argued, and their approach was contrary to each other, but throughout history they came to realize their differences. And for the most part, their fight was never more than real siblings can handle, as they remained a united front.
AC shadows have put a new twist on the concept
With Assassin's Creed Shadowsthe original dual main personnel system created with Syndicate have returned. In the new edition, players can control the killer Naoe or Samurai Yasuke as they try to save the 16th century Japan from Shinbakufu. But this time these two characters seem to have very different goals and stories to tell.
At the beginning of Assassin's Creed ShadowsBoth of these characters are on completely opposite sides of the main conflict. Yasuke works with Oda Nobunaga and even stops killing one of the few remaining members of the Japanese brotherhood of murderers, while Naoe is desperately trying to defend his people from Nobunaga's invasion. Both of these characters do not even meet until Naoe has killed a couple of Shinbakufu, and when they do, they are directly in battle. But throughout the game's story, they grow to trust and trust each other.
That story is in sharp contrast to the story as Syndicate Told, which makes a very special adventure. Connect it with the fact that both Naoe and Yasuke also have extremely unique playing styles, and it is clear that Ubisoft has taken the double protagonist to new heights. Hopefully, future titles will be able to put even more unique spins on the concept.
