Guitar manufacturer Gibson is joining forces with accessory manufacturer CRKD to introduce two new guitar controls for use with several gaming platforms and consoles. Both guitars are designed based on the iconic Gibson Les Paul guitars and should be suitable for players, whether they want to play a guitar-based rhythm game classic like Guitar hero or new titles such as Fortnite Festival.

Gibson and CRKD have now revealed two new controls for rhythm games with the guitar theme. CRKD Gibson Les Paul Guitar Controllers are available in two versions, with LP Black Tribal Encore Edition and LP Blueberry Burst Pro Edition. The two versions have some differences, including their colors and overall appearance, but both include Hall Effect Analog Navigation Bars, wired and wireless functionality, RGB lighting, an inclination sensor, an ergonomic D-pad on the back of the headstock and a removable neck that can be upgraded.
The LP Black Tribal Encore edition is the cheaper of the two, with the multi-platform variant selling for $ 109.99 and Xbox/PC-specific version for $ 119.99. The Black Tribal Edition has standard rubber membrane buttons and a mechanical strum field, which should give an experience similar to what players will remember from Classic Rockband and Guitar hero instrument. LP Blueberry Burst Pro Edition goes for $ 119.99 and $ 129.99 for each versions, with mechanical Fret buttons and a hall power rum that includes haptic feedback.
