7 Most Overpowering Vegeta Techniques, Ranked

Vegeta is one of the most powerful characters in the Dragon Ball story, and he's only gotten stronger all the time Dragon Ball Super. After unlocking God Ki Resurrection F and when he catches up with Goku by unlocking Super Saiyan Blue, Vegeta has finally surpassed and defeated his rival once and for all in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. While he may not have as much potential as Gohan or Broly, Vegeta is currently the strongest pure-blood Saiyan in the series.

A child prodigy born from hard work, Vegeta has always had a naturally higher power level than Goku, but now he's unlocked even stronger techniques and transformations by training nonstop in Dragon Ball Super. Vegeta has essentially become a god of destruction in all but the title, harnessing immense levels of power that allow him to use the most destructive techniques in Dragon Ball multiverse.

Gamma Burst Flash is Vegeta's divine upgrade to Final Flash

The Final Flash was already a planet-busting technique in Dragon Ball Z. When Vegeta used Final Flash against Perfect Cell, Future Trunks was genuinely worried that Vegeta would blow up planet Earth to kill Cell. Luckily, Vegeta held back his full power at the last minute. After becoming a God in Dragon Ball SuperVegeta's Final Flash becomes even more powerful and transforms into Gamma Burst Flash.

Gamma Burst Flash is a divine version of Final Flash that uses Vegeta's God Ki as the base of the attack. In it Dragon Ball Super manga Tournament of Power, Vegeta uses Gamma Burst Flash against Jiren. While the attack only slightly damages Jiren, the Gamma Burst Flash is so powerful that it changes the atmosphere of the World of Void, putting it on par with Goku's Transcendent Kamehameha from Dragon Ball DAIMA.

Vegeta finally learned instant transfer to save Goku from Moro

Moro will be the first major villain in Dragon Ball Super 2and will introduce Goku & Vegeta to a villain from God that they cannot defeat in their current state. At full power, Moro is stronger than the average God, and his ability to consume life energy only makes him stronger the more he explores and terrorizes the universe. To fight Moro, Vegeta heads to Planet Yardrat to train with Pybara, the Yardratian who taught Goku Instant Transmission.

While Vegeta is on Planet Yardrat for other means, he realizes that he never took into account the travel time required to get to Earth. Vegeta brute forces himself to learn teleportation and warps back to Earth to save Goku from Moro. Even though Vegeta will now never use Instant Transmission again, the fact that he learned a technique that took Goku a year to learn in minutes is a testament to how powerful Vegeta has become.

Vegeta's final blast is the ultimate self-destruct technique

Vegeta first used his Final Explosion attack in the Majin Buu Saga. Channeling all of his Ki inside himself, Vegeta unleashes a massive explosion that destroys everything in his vicinity – including himself. If Majin Buu hadn't been able to regenerate, Vegeta would have killed Fat Buu right then and there. The Final Explosion is an incredibly dangerous technique that puts the user's life at risk and should only be used in the most desperate situations.

During Dragon Ball Supers Tournament of Power, Vegeta performs the Final God Explosion while fighting Toppo. By channeling all of his God Ki into his body and unleashing it, Super Saiyan Blue Evolved Vegeta is able to push Toppo off the field and eliminate him from the tournament. Since Vegeta has grown so strong, he actually manages to survive the explosion this time. If Vegeta wasn't in a tournament environment with a no-kill rule, however, Final God Explosion realistically would have very more damage.

Forced Spirit Fission is one of Vegeta's most broken abilities

The coming one Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol anime will finally adapt the fan-favorite Moro Saga from Dragon Ball Super manga. The Moro Saga is a major turning point for both Goku and Vegeta. As Goku strives to finally master the Perfected Ultra Instinct, Vegeta puts aside his pride and embraces humility as he seeks to atone for his sins on Planet Namek. In order to fight even with Moro, Vegeta heads to Planet Yardrat to master Spirit Control.

Along with learning Instant Transmission, Vegeta learns how to perform Forced Spirit Fission. Forced Spirit Fission is an attack that can expel various forms of energy and Ki from anyone. While fighting Moro, Vegeta uses Forced Spirit Fission to slowly weaken him, freeing the souls that Moro had eaten and sending them back to their dead bodies. At the end of the arc, Vegeta uses Forced Spirit Fission to absorb Uub's Ki and lend it to Goku, giving his rival enough power to kill Moro once and for all.

Hakai can erase anyone and anything from existence

Hakai is the basic technique of the Gods of Destruction. By carefully channeling their destructive energy, a God of Destruction can use precise blasts to destroy everything in their path. Hakai is so powerful that it can instantly erase beings from existence, like how Beerus erased Zamasu with a Hakai in Goku Black Saga. By training with Beerus i Dragon Ball Super manga, Vegeta begins to better understand the principles of destruction.

Hakai becomes one of Vegeta's main moves in Granolah the Survivor Saga. Beerus is so impressed with Vegeta's growth as a destroyer that he even gives him a God of Destruction Earring as a sign of Vegeta's potential. Vegeta is one of the strongest Hakai users within Dragon Ball Superbut he doesn't use the technique to erase. Rather, he prefers to use Hakai as a way to heavily injure his opponents and strike fear into their hearts.

Ultra Ego makes Vegeta more powerful the longer he fights

Ultra Ego is Vegeta's answer to Ultra Instinct. Like Ultra Instinct, Ultra Ego is a hybrid technique/transformation that gives Vegeta a massive power boost while also unlocking access to several new abilities and buffs. Ultra Ego is effectively a Destroyer Form that uses Vegeta's destructive energy as a trigger for its awakening. Using Ultra Ego not only enhances Vegeta's mastery of Hakai, it makes him much stronger.

More than the typical power boost associated with transformation, Ultra Ego makes Vegeta stronger the longer he fights and the more damage he takes. Ultra Ego also stuns Vegeta with pain, allowing him to sustain mortal wounds without slowing him down. The downside is that Vegeta cannot gauge how much energy he has left when using Ultra Ego, and risks exhausting himself and losing power. Although still unrefined, Ultra Ego has already skyrocketed Vegeta to match Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku's power level.

Beerus Ball is Ultra Ego Vegeta's most powerful attack

Beerus Ball is one of the strongest attacks in Dragon Ballpoint. A dark reflection of the Spirit Bomb (right down to its Japanese name being Hakai Dama, referring to Genki Dama), the Beerus Ball is a massive bomb of pure, destructive energy. Beerus Ball is a deadly technique that can destroy anything it touches, almost like an ultra Hakai.

When Vegeta unlocks Ultra Ego, he can utilize his Hakai abilities with great ease. Ultra Ego Vegeta uses the Beerus Ball to try to kill Granolah i Dragon Ball Super manga. The threat of the Beerus Ball is such that Granolah's left eye literally evolves in place to counter the technique. Although this seems a bit against Vegeta, Granolah was the strongest being in Universe 7 when he fought Ultra Ego Vegeta. The fact that he needed to surpass his full strength just to survive speaks to how overwhelmingly powerful the Beerus Ball is.
