Tides of Tomorrow Review Roundup

Reviews for Tides of Tomorrow, an asynchronous multiplayer first-person adventure game, are officially out now.

All Ozen locations in Tides of Tomorrow

This temporary cure can be found in a few ways, but as rare as Ozen is, you have the option of sharing it with future Tidewalkers and dying NPCs, or collecting it all yourself. Keep in mind that whatever choices you make can affect Tidewalkers who may decide to follow your Story Seed, so let's look at all the ways to acquire Ozen in Tomorrow's tide.

Story characters and NPCs

Obin's daughter, Kass, is one of the characters in the game that will give the Tidewalkers some Ozen to distribute or keep for themselves. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

The first way you can acquire Ozen is from NPCs during the main story quest lineabove all you can get some from Nah at the beginning of the game. Crate is another NPC who will give some Ozen during a mission at the Main Outpost, which you must decide whether to keep for yourself or distribute to those in need.

Merchants

There is at least one Ozen store in most places in Elryd. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

Throughout this oceanic planet, players will encounter merchant shops where they can purchase Ozen using scraps. As you explore Elynd through story progression, you can use some of the clips you've collected to trade with merchants for an Ozen tank.

Donation boxes

There is a chance that a former Tidewalker may have left Ozen behind in one of the many donation boxes you can discover in the game. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

Tomorrow's tideThe online Story Link feature allows other players to follow in your footsteps and create their own journey for more to follow. Along the way, you'll encounter a unique type of chest called Donation Boxes, which suggest you leave something behind for future Tidewalkers, and you can pick up an Ozen Tank from the Donation Box.

Ocean Events

Participating in an Ocean Event can be extremely rewarding once completed. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

Ocean Events are unique experiences that you will encounter at specific intervals in the game and usually allow players to engage in more trivial activities that can be rewarding. Usually this includes exchanging dialogue with NPCs, for whom you can give or trade items for Ozen, which can be very helpful later in the game.

Exploration

During story chapters, you can find hidden locations where NPCs or former Tidewalkers may have stored Ozen tanks. Image via GameRant; Source: DigixArt

There are other ways to get hold of Ozen, but some are more hidden than the methods mentioned above. Although it may be time consuming, search cupboards, bins, valves and caches can reward you with Ozen or other valuable items, so it helps to search every nook and cranny.

How to use Ozen in Tides of Tomorrow

Your health bar (HP) is visible on the HUD screen, but due to Plastemia, your health bar will drain periodically. This only occurs before the next story chapter begins, when you choose your next destination, two HP levels of which will be consumed by the toxic plastic disease, and this is the best time to use Ozen.

Also, if your health level is extremely low, it would be wise to use some Ozen before moving on to the subsequent objectives or risk dying. In addition to using Ozen on yourself, you can give Ozen to dying Reclaimer NPCsthat can contribute to your traits, or you can leave an Ozen tank in a donation box for a future Tidewalker who may need it desperately!
