Brighter Shores: Complete Guide to Fishing
Fishing is a relaxing occupation that you can enjoy while playing Brighter Shores. Here you can learn everything there is to know about it.
To get in touch with the gang leader, you need to hide a note in one Offensive flounder and place it on the Frequent Fresh Fish Stand. However, the flounder requires level 25 fishing and you must go to Overgrown pond to actually capture it.
How to level up your fishing fast and catch the stinky flounder
To actually catch the stinking flounder, you need to reach level 25 in fishing. This is quite a task – we reckon it will take at least a couple of hours of non-stop grinding to reach this threshold.
As you catch fish with your fishing spear, you unlock different types of fish to catch. To level up quickly, always make sure to capture fish at the highest level to get the first experience boost.
That said, it's actually easier to catch eel or Pufferfish because they are closer to the fish stand where you can sell the fish. Otherwise, you'll be running back and forth a lot while you can spend the time fishing.
Likewise, you can do crafts experience pots to enhance your experience while completing tasks.
Where is the stinking flounder?
The stinking flounder can be found at the overgrown pond just north of Sea Road. The fish only becomes available to catch once you've reached level 25 and will not appear in the pond beforehand.
