This is how long it will reportedly take to beat 007: First Light

007 First light PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC are only a few weeks away, and we'll see Hitman developer IO Interactive put their own spin on the British icon that is James Bond. While the studio has some big plans for post-launch support that will keep players coming back for more and more action, it's now been revealed roughly how long it will take players to complete the main campaign for 007 First light.

It's been five years since Daniel Craig hung up his bow tie and left the role of James Bond, and while MGM Studios has found its director for the next 007 film, finding the next James Bond is still difficult. Thankfully, fans of the iconic British character won't have to wait long to see the beloved MI6 agent embark on his next adventure. 007 First light is one of the most anticipated video game releases of 2026, and for good reason. Developed by Hitman creator IO Interactive, the stealth experts put their years of experience to the test and bring players the first AAA James Bond game in 14 years, this time putting fans in the boots of a younger, more inexperienced Bond who has yet to be granted his 00 status.

However, it should be noted that IO Interactive has plans to support 007 First light with tons of post-launch content, including new missions for the game's tac-sim mode. This is one of the many features of 007 First light which will give players more than enough reason to keep coming back for more action, even after completing the main campaign. For those who may not be aware, the tac-sim mode will feature several types of challenges for players to complete and will not only pit the community against each other on a leaderboard, but will also allow players to earn experience points which can then be spent on gadget upgrades, weapons and clothing.

Everyone who was eager to pick up 007 First light on Nintendo Switch 2 will have to wait a little longer, as IO Interactive recently confirmed an unfortunate delay for Nintendo's newest console. The studio did not reveal the details of why it had to delay 007 First lightwas released on Switch 2 just weeks before launch, but it said it intends to give fans the best possible gaming experience across all platforms. The Switch 2 version will now be released later this summer, but a firm date has yet to be confirmed by IO Interactive.
