Chapter 5 introduces one of the best secret rewards in Delta rune. Players can grab six unique weapons and armor pieces inspired by Undertale. These special Flower Items become available after defeating the secret boss in Chapter 5, Pink. To unlock Pink, you will spend 10 Pink Coins, leaving you with only 9 Pink Coins left.
As such, you cannot collect all six items in a single playthrough. Each costs 100 Flower Dollars and 3 Pink Coinsand since there are only enough pink coins to buy three items in Delta runeit is important to choose the right equipment. We break down all of Chapter 5's secret weapons in this guide to help you pick the ones worth buying.
How to unlock chapter 5 secret weapons and armor
Flower Items are unlocked after defeating Pink, the secret boss of Chapter 5. Once the battle is over, head to the hidden area north of Pink's room. There you will find a secret flower shop that sells six exclusive pieces of equipment.
Each item costs 100 Flowery Dollars and 3 Pink Coins, so it's worth thinking about which equipment best suits your party.

What does it do? |
|---|---|---|
|
BlueShoes (Ralsei Weapon) |
+2 AT, +4 DEF, +6 MAGIC |
BlueShoes are currently Ralsei's best weapon for spellcasting. It decreases Calm costs 0 TP and gives Ralsei one of the strongest stat boosts out there. The free Pacify is useful, but its real strength is massive +6 Magic and +4 Defense on a weapon, which is extremely rare. It greatly improves Ralsei's healing power while making him much harder to defeat. One of the best Flower Items for pacifist runs. |
|
GreenApron (armor) |
+7 DEF |
The GreenApron can be equipped to all of your party members. It restores HP whenever the wearer uses Defend. This is arguably the best defensive armor in Chapter 5 as it combines the highest defense bonus currently available with reliable healing. It allows characters like Kris to restore HP while building TP, allowing Ralsei to focus on healing other party members. Great for tough boss fights and survival focused builds. |
|
SethSpecs (Armor) |
+4 DEF, +6 MAGIC |
SethSpecs can be equipped to all party members except Noelle. It increases the invincibility frames after taking damage from 40 frames (1.33 seconds) to 48 frames (1.6 seconds). This gives players more time to avoid follow-up attacks. The statistics are also incredible, esp +6 Magicmaking it the highest magical armor currently available. Perfect for players who struggle with bullet patterns or want a powerful magic build. |
|
YellowHat (armor) |
+4 AT, +4 DEF, +4 MAGIC |
Like GreenApron, YellowHat can be equipped to any party member but works best with Susie and Ralsei. It increases all spell damage by 20% while giving you balanced stats. It's not specialized as much as GreenApron or SethSpecs, but it improves both offense and survivability. It pairs particularly well with Magic-based builds and could possibly become even stronger in future chapters as spells continue to scale. |
|
AquaKnife (Kris Weapon) |
+10 AT, +2 DEF |
AquaKnife makes it easier for Kris to land critical hits. While the extra Attack looks impressive, the weapon is less valuable as critical hits can be improved through training and stronger options like the BlackShard already compete with it. It's a fun option for Kris' damage builds, but usually not worth spending limited pink coins on. |
|
OrangeGlove (Armor) |
+4 AT, +8 DEF |
OrangeGlove can only be equipped with Susie or Noelle. It reduces the TP cost of Susie's Scythemare spell. Although it has the highest defense value of a single piece of armor, its effect is very situational since Scythemare is rarely used. GreenApron provides more practical survivability through healing, making OrangeGlove difficult to justify unless future chapters increase Scythemare's importance. |
After purchasing all three Flower Items from the Chapter 5 Secret Shop, a new pedestal appears where players can purchase Flowery Scarf for 1 Flowery Dollar. Despite being described as “Ralsei's ultimate weapon”, it cannot be equipped as Ralsei refuses to use anything linked to Flowery. FloweryScarf is mostly a joke item but has powerful stats that provide +70 AT, +70 DEF, +70 MAGIC and the unique TheBest ability. After the Flowery battle, it is revealed to be a fake and transforms into BrokenScarf. It's worth collecting for completion and extra dialogue, but it doesn't really have any benefits.
The three best flower items to buy in Deltarune
For most players, the strongest choices are: BlueShoes + GreenApron + SethSpecs. These three provide the best overall performance, combining Ralsei's improved healing, Kris or Susie's defensive sustain, and extra survivability during tough fights.
For a more aggressive pacifist build: BlueShoes + GreenApron + YellowHat is another good option, especially since YellowHat's spell boost can become more valuable with future bosses.
