Setting the tone
This harsh depiction of Entei from Call Of Legends sets the tone for what to expect in this set: shiny legendary Pokémon in amazing action pictures. While this amazing shiny palette sets a strong standard for what we can expect from the other shiny Pokemon designs, its price is relatively modest.
You can find a damaged copy of this card for as little as $19.59, while finding a hard played card is almost impossible (HP) cards without new sales. Moderately played though (MP) cards can be purchased for $40 and are easily played (LP) will only cost slightly more at $54. Expect to pay a premium for near-mint (NM) copies, which jump up to $90.
9 Kyogre (Shiny Holo Rare) – $110.03
The appearance of the first pink palette
The pink shiny color palette is prevalent among some of the best cards in Call of Legends, with Kyogre being the first entry into the Pink Pokemon party.
Cards like these highlight the contrast between the Pokémon and the background, making their appearance pop.
Damaged copies start at $52, followed by MP cards creeping up to the $55 – $60 range. Because these cards are popular to grade, you pay a premium for an LP copy, which can boast sales as high as $105, with NM copies round things out at $189.99 at their peak.
8 Deoxys (Shiny Holo Rare) – $115.48
A journey through the cosmos
Deoxys is one of the most mysterious Pokémon ever introduced, with a shiny color scheme that barely shows up given how rarely this Pokémon appears in both the games and the Pokémon TCG.
Fortunately, you may be able to find a damaged copy for as little as $16 if you're mostly interested in the card, rather than the condition. But MP copies sell for $50, followed by a significant jump to LP cards for as much as $88 at the high end, followed by NMs cap at about $135.
7 Palkia (Shiny Holo Rare) – $125.00
A fight for pink perfection
Palkia slips ahead of Deoxys as the next entry into the pink-shiny color palette battle, throwing her hat in the ring alongside Kyogre for pink-shiny supremacy.
Friendly rivalries aside, this Palkia is a great card, but unfortunately it falls just slightly short of a high ranking.
This card is much harder to find than the others so far, and only has a handful of sales to its name with a much lower sales area than Deoxys. But that one NM copies support the market price, as these cards top out at $135, compared to a single LP sale for $90, with lower terms falling as low as $24.
6 Ho-Oh (Shiny Holo Rare) – $126.99
On rainbow wings
Ho-Oh hits the gas and gets his neck in front of Palkia to get closer to the most valuable card in Call Of Legends. While this valuable Ho-Oh card falls well short of the top spot, there's no denying that it's easily one of the most visually appealing cards in the set.
This card is even harder to find than Deoxys, as the sale lacks a NM copy, which covers LP data rising as high as $134, leaving space for NM copies. While the $126 market price seems conservative, there's no telling where this card could go once all conditions have registered sales.
5 Groudon (Shiny Holo Rare) – $150.00
A glowing, golden Groudon
Groudon clears Ho-Oh handily, as there's no doubting this card's stunning looks or sky-high price tag, as this Groudon card features a golden recolor for the legendary Ground-type Pokémon.
You find NM copies at the top of the charts, clocking in with a sale as high as 150 USD – the current market price. This value is likely to change if LP cards continue to sell below $100, as there are not many sales to support the current estimate.
However, the future looks bright with recent sales trending upwards.
4 Dialga (Shiny Holo Rare) – $170.48
A dominant position
While you might expect to see Dialga among the most valuable cards of the Diamond & Pearl era—its debut generation—Dialga reaches its potential in this stunning HGSS set, as it joins an impressive crop of shiny Pokémon.
This card boasts luckily a NM sale for $160 to give credibility to the current market price. But money seems interested in buying these cards to grade, as evidenced by the huge drop in value for an LP copy, which costs around $85.
3 Suicune (Shiny Holo Rare) – $200.00
A brilliant burst of light
Suicune stands tall with arguably the most breathtaking design in Call Of Legends, as this explosion of light and color offers beauty and contrasting hues to satisfy any collector.
It's hard to fully appreciate this card's magnificent use of shading and light without seeing it in person.
Suicune has seen a steady increase in value, with plenty of sales data to support its high market price. NM copies have sold twice for 200 USD and also has one 150 USD sale, with a clear selection for cards in the best condition. If you want a nice copy but prefer a discount, you can find LP copies for close to $100.
2 Lugia (Shiny Holo Rare) – $282.45
A whirlpool of color
Lugia makes an impressive run as one of the best cards in Call Of Legends, and claims the crown as the best Shiny Pokemon with a pink color palette, taking the honor from Kyogre and Palkia.
While you'll be happy to know you can find a damaged copy for as cheap as $69.99, even HP copies jump up to nearly $130, followed by a massive upgrade for LP cards, which come in closer to $230 , with three sales in that range. Finally, one NM copy leapfrogs rest with an impressive $280 sale.
1 Rayquaza (Shiny Holo Rare) – $299.99
Rise of the fabled dragon
Rayquaza claims its rightful place as the most valuable card in Call Of Legends, as this legendary Pokémon's black shiny color change gives it one of the most elegant yet brutal designs of any Pokémon on the list.
Understandably, you may be less interested in finding a perfect copy than an affordable one, in which case you'll be happy to find damaged copies for under $70, even if they're hard to come by. An LP copy flew into the $225 range, while NM cards can reach as high as $300.
