In an important post discussing the future of all its major franchises, Bethesda talked about how the development of The Elder Scrolls 6 accompanied. The developer revealed that the game is being developed on Creation Engine 3, described as “a shared technology platform that we've been building since Starfieldlaunch.” According to Bethesda, this “allows our teams to support multiple projects simultaneously with new tools, rendering, and systems that define our games.”
It also repeats that The Elder Scrolls 6 is Bethesda's primary development focus right now, with the majority of the studio now working on the project. The developer says that “we know it's been a very long wait for the sequel,” but concludes with a very encouraging update, saying, “The next chapter is on its way.
