The best heroes to use in EA FC 25

8 Maicon

Maicon is a new addition to the lineup of top-tier heroes you'll find in EA FC 25, as this right-back has an impressive set of attributes. With 80+ across the board, Maicon can contribute to your defense and offense, although he won't offer the most dynamic pace going forward.

Heroes work a little differently in EA FC 25, as they get an initial version that can later be upgraded, making these

Ramires was also in contention for one of the best heroes in EA FC 25, but his similarities to Yaya Toure make him redundant.

Ramires remains a suitable replacement for Yaya
in almost every way but doesn't offer the same offensive capabilities.

Toure's Incisive Pass PlayStyle Plus makes him one of those most dangerous passer in a defensive midfield role. Yaya's best attribute, however, is his physicality, as he often dislodges opponents and maintains possession on his own by putting the powers to work.

5 Paulo Futre

Paulo Futre may not have the most spectacular weak foot, but his card has improved from last year, with an 88 rating being the biggest difference, along with strong attributes to back it up. Futre has a quick 93 pace and equal dribbles, which makes him incredibly elusive with the ball.

Combine Futre's attributes with his Technical PlayStyle Plus to become one of the slickest players you can find. If you enjoy making opponents miss tackles and lose their footing, Paulo Futre will be the best hero card to use in EA FC 25.

4 Vincent Kompany

Vincent Kompany's fearsome combination of size, pace, defensive ability and physicality make him one of the best defenders in Premier League history. Kompany enhances his real-world performances with virtual success as one of the best defenders in EA FC 25.

A 90 in defense is an incredibly high attribute to have, especially early in the game cycle – although another great hero could rival all of Kompany's best attributes and surpass his defensive prowess.

3 Wesley Sneijder

Wesley Sneijder is arguably one of the best attacking midfielders in the game, with an impressive attribute line that is only surpassed by his sublime performances in the game. Sneijder's Incisive Pass PlayStyle Plus can be used even better than Yaya's, med Sneijder boasts a phenomenal 90 pass.

If you need someone to pull the strings for you and dictate the pace of play from midfield, then Wesley Sneijder is easily one of the best options in attack and is the perfect pairing with Yaya's unrivaled defensive abilities.

2 Lucio

Lucio is back to reclaim his rightful place as the best defensive hero card in EA FC 25, surpassing Kompany's 90/86 defense/physical split, with 91 and 89 totals in their respective categories.

While the total of four extra attribute points isn't the biggest difference,
Lucio's body type and Block PlayStyle Plus help match Kompany's Anticipate.
