This is despite the fact that the game is launched with consistent performance problems at Switch, sometimes struggles to maintain 30 FPS.
New pictures of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet on Nintendo Switch 2 shows the game running at 60 fps. This comes after the game was launched on the original switch with a number of performance problems, including Framederate drops when the game was already covered at 30 fps.
In pictures shared on the Nintendo Today app, we can see that Switch 2 upgrade of Scarlet & Violet Fares much better. While we have to judge this for ourselves on the day of launch, everything goes very smoothly in the pictures, even when there is a lot of Pokémon on the screen.

If the game goes like this when we get hand on Switch 2 later this week, this is a huge upgrade. However, it is frustrating that these improvements are probably locked behind the new console, without any updates planned for the game on the platform on which it launched.

It is the past that a game steals Pokémon Gold and Silver's best gimmick
Gold and silver remain the very best that no one ever was.
Scarlet & Violet's performance came on fire when it was launched in 2022. The game is that Hardy presses the transition to its limits visually, and yet the game was full of bugs, visual errors and fought to maintain 30 fps. Even DLC launched with performance problems, as Nintendo seemed uninterested in improving the game a lot after publication.
On the bright side, these Switch 2 improvements should not be paid if you already own the game. I guess that's the least Nintendo can do, given that you have already put down $ 450 for the console. That being said, you have to pay for upgrades in other switch games, such as mouse support in Metroid Prime 4.
