Repo teases new weapon that comes in future update

A new weapon is on its way in RepoWith the game developer Semiwork who shares a demonstration of the upcoming wagon cannon that can be used to blast through obstacles and enemies. The wagon cannon is available Repo Beta client in an upcoming building, along with some gaming balance changes in health packages, energy crystals and enemy behaviors.

Since the launch in early access, Repo Has become one of the best Indie games in 2025 because of its physics-focused games and the funny discoveries that players can come into. In May 16, weekly developer Vlog on Youtube shared Semiwork a glimpse on the carriage cannon, a new weapon that will soon be coming to Repo beta. With this new weapon, the carriage can be used as a tank, as one player shoots the trolley while another uses the mounted cannon. The wagon cannon can meet enemies and objects, so players must be careful when directing it. The powerful new weapon can also double as a wagon laser, depending on which side of the weapon is pointed outwards. Players can log in to Repo beta from their steam play library by choosing RepoClick the Settings icon to the right, select Properties and go to the Beta tab. Although mods for Repo are currently exclusive to the live client, players can switch between the live and beta versions of the game at any time.

Cart Cannon update will also introduce some adjustments based on Repo Player feedback to make health packages and energy crystals more attractive to buy and use. After fixing an “infinite health package” glitch, Semiwork said that health packages will heal more health under early levels, with decreasing returns with a few levels after level 5.

Semwork also stated that they are planning to make some enemies more likely to be stunned by smaller objects, which would make difficulty scaling off RepoFirst levels easier for newer players to handle. Overall, Repo Players will have some new content to try out as early access continues.
