The actor who brought Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan to life, Roger Clark, talks about Red Dead Redemption 3 and his excitement for it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 actor returns for GTA 6
During a live stream hosted by Jim Santangeli, the actor behind Simon Pearson, he confirmed that he provided his talents for Grand Theft Auto 6also. Santangeli first said he had done some “cool stuff” in GTA 6but noted that it was something small, before responding to a follow-up where he repeated that it was a “tiny little bit”. The actor didn't say anything more, likely because he didn't want to incur the wrath of Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive, as he supposedly signed a non-disclosure agreement. Fans of the games will want to listen carefully to any NPCs they come across in GTA 6 once it's out, because any of them could potentially be Santangeli.

While fans of Rockstar Games titles will probably only recognize Santangeli from Red Dead Redemption 2this will mark the third time he has appeared in one of its games. Early in his career, Santangeli lent his voice to Grand Theft Auto 4way back in 2008. In that game, he was only credited as one of the many NPCs wandering around Liberty City, so many players probably had no idea the actor was in both titles. It is possible that he may come back for a similar position in the GTA 6as the game is expected to feature more advanced NPCs than ever, with “hundreds of thousands” of lines of dialogue recorded in total. If he does play a named role, it sounds like it will be a fairly minor character, given that the actor reiterates that it's a “small bit.”
Santangeli isn't the only person brought back to lend his talents across more than one Rockstar release. The developer has been known to work with actors several times in the past. For example, Shawn Fonteno played an unnamed member of the Grove Street Families gang GTA: San Andreas before returning to play Franklin in the GTA 5. Jay Klaitz, who played Lester in GTA 5was also involved Red Dead RedemptionDutch's Benjamin Byron Davis was in attendance San Andreas and LA Noireand Ned Luke, who played Michael in GTA 5appeared as an unnamed moonshiner in Red Dead Redemption 2to name just a few.
