Pokemon that should receive mega developments

Several Pokémon have so far received powerful mega developments in the franchise, but many other deserving candidates remain ignored and urge their own mega form. However, several popular choices are still in the Mega Evolution Race and wonder if their names will ever be called.

Even if you have given up hope that your beloved Flyon has ever received a mega development, we do not have, and we are ready to wear the torch for these Pokemon. With Mega Evolutions returning to Pokemon TCG at the end of 2025, these Pokemon, which deserves mega development, should be at the top of the list for all new additions.

Deoxys

Let's start our parade through Pokemon which deserves mega developments with probably the least likely choice to get one: deoxys. Although it would be a long shot for an already powerful mythical Pokémon like deoxys to become even stronger through a mega development, Rayquaza gives a precedent that makes this a real opportunity.

Although there is some doubt that it may have been a bad choice to make one of the most powerful Pokémon even stronger than the rest, Rayquaza's mega development almost requires deoxys to get one too, given their connection.

Arkanin

Arcanine has received the short end of the stick from the earliest days of its existence, as this Pokemon was originally planned to be included as one of the first legendary Pokemon ever with mewtwo. While Arcanin is still known as the Legendary pokemon, it is not considered among the same pantheon as real legends, as mewtwo.

While some of Arcanine's most valuable Pokemon TCG cards reflect its enormous popularity, this Pokemon has received some attention in recent years, with its debut by Hisuian Arcanine as the only alternative form it has been given.

Zoroark

Zoroark is one of the coolest Pokemon and has made a name for himself as one of the most popular Pokémon from Pokemon TCG's journey together. While this Pokémon still seems to be on Pokemon Company's (TPCI) thinking, they have not given it a stronger shape other than the Hisuian Zoroark alternative design.

While another form is nice to have, this Pokémon is cool enough on its own to motivate a new, stronger development that does not completely change its original color scheme or give the unusual type.

Meganium

Meganium is one of the most stupid Pokémon of all time, as it fails to be equal to Feraligatr or Typelosion in pure strength or coolness, and is one of the most deserving mega Evolution candidates. The word “mega” is even in its name, how can you ever motivate to ignore this pokemon as a top choice for mega development?

While some of the other guys may be motivated because they do not have to be stronger or have already received other forms, there is really no reason that meganium should be disclosed, as it has already been ignored for too long.

Drabow

Although it is one of the newest Pokémon on the list, Dragapult would be a fantastic mega development choice, especially considering that its design is suitable for a similar motif for Kangaskhan with the little Baby Pokémon at this Dragon's Head. Dragapult's connection to its foreseeing can provide a perfect element for a mega evolution.

Admittedly, Dragapult will probably not have a mega development before some of the other possible choices, but Stranger Things has happened to Pokemon before. The fingers crossed that we are surprised and incorrect about this probability.

Flyon

Flyon is one of the most deserving Pokémon who never gets an alternative form of any kind and would make the perfect mega Evolution candidate. Dozens of fans concepts have been made for this mega development, and Pokemon's simple design is suitable for a variety of creative opportunities.

The combination of a cool but common design, lack of other forms and its status as one of the strongest Pokémon in its generation makes Flygon a large Pokémon that should get a mega development. We know that there will be many cheers that echo via the internet if this happens.

Typelosion

Follow -up of meganium would be typelosion to be another excellent Pokémon to get a mega development, as Charizards two shapes already give a perfect template for what you can expect to see from a hard fireplace starter. While its design is extremely different from Charizard, Typelosion's flames are a good base to begin with.

Regardless of which method the artists choose to improve the type of typelosion's already impressive and frightening design, it will be a well -deserved upgrade. Unfortunately, just like Zoroark and Arcanine, Typelosion also got a Hisuian form, which makes it less likely to get a mega development, but hey, we can dream.

Draconite

Dragonite is the most deserving and perhaps the most likely Pokémon that gets a mega development of the best choices above. Dragonite is one of the original 151 Pokemon and has never got an alternative form of any kind, which makes it an excellent alternative to finally get some demand attention from the design team.

Dragonite's adorable design and nuanced personality make it a perfect choice, and it may be one of the few Pokémon not called Charizard that can motivate a shared mega evolution. Since Dragonite can be either lighter or intense, a split road that leans into each move would make this one of the best mega development in Pokemon.
