Pokemon Pokopia has announced its third ever special event, Bulbasaur's Jump Rope Contest, which will give players a chance to get some fun rewards. The special one week event in Pokemon Pokopia is scheduled to run from April 19-26, but as with the first big event, there's an easy way to get in early.
The success of Pokemon Pokopia has been overwhelming. The Pokémon The franchise's first-ever life sim sold more than 2 million copies in its first four days on the market, and critical response has also been stellar, placing it as the highest-rated Pokémon game ever made, just before Pokémon Y. The development teams at Game Freak and Omega Force haven't rested on their laurels, but have continued to add fun activities through special limited-time events, with many more planned for the future.

Shortly after the release of Pokemon Pokopia on March 5, the More Spores for Hoppip event was launched, allowing players to collect cotton spores and trade them in at the Pokemon Center for picnic-themed prizes, some of which lured Hoppip and its evolution to the island. The first event in the game i Pokemon Pokopia lasted 15 days, and the faster pace and smaller scale of the Bulbasaur's Jump Rope Contest event means players will have less than half that time to participate. Like the first event, there is also a prerequisite to trigger it, as players must have completed the Yawn up a Storm request for Slowpoke, which is found in the desiccated wasteland.
Some players were already able to discover the existence of the Bulbasaur's Jump Rope Contest event by using time travel methods in the Pokemon Pokopiaset the Switch 2's built-in clock to future dates to see what the game had in store for them. While the development team has not provided a full list of rewards that players can collect, those who have managed to jump into the jump rope event early on have reported that new rewards are available after completing the first jump and every 10 jumps thereafter. Prizes that have been reported include Leppa Berries, Honey, Star Shards, Great Lost Relics, Rainbow Feathers, Silver Feathers, Pokemetal, and Rare Pokemetal. Additionally, players who can complete 51 consecutive jumps will be awarded a special Jump Rope Trophy.
