A decent portion of those complaints were directed to the PlayStation Direct storewho reportedly kicked people out of queues that were still being served.

Aside from frustrations over missing out on PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection merchandise, some fans have also expressed criticism of Sony for not doing more to prevent scalping in response to the trailer. For reference, the jewel of the collection that is the PS5 Pro bundle is currently selling for up to $13,750 on eBay, a 1,276% markup. Several ongoing eBay auctions for the package have also already exceeded $5,000 in bids as of September 28, although it is currently unclear whether the bids they have attracted are legitimate.

While these comments have generated some limited traction on Twitter, they still only represent a small minority of the reactions to The last of us Season 2 trailer, most of which are really related to the show's second season, which is currently on track to premiere in 2025.
