The first year of Nintendo Switch 2Life goes on in trucks while November 2025 will be the busiest month for the home console/handheld hybrid since launch. The Nintendo Switch 2 was launched with Mario Kart World and just over a month later received the critically acclaimed 3D platformer Donkey Kong Banana.
Nintendo has kept the momentum going, ensuring that there is always a big game released for the Switch 2 every month since June. October 2025 doesn't have much in the way of pure Switch 2 exclusives, but the console was treated to Pokemon Legends: ZA The Switch 2 version, which has superior performance compared to the Switch 1 version of the game.
As October draws to a close, Nintendo Switch 2 early adopters are no doubt looking ahead to what November 2025 has to offer. Based on what's been announced, it looks like November will be the busiest month for the Switch 2 since the console's launch, with two big pure exclusives alongside a slew of strong third-party games. The Switch 2's offers from November 2025 will start with Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment on November 6, to be followed by Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2 on November 13, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero on November 14, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide and Squirrel with a gun on November 18 and finally, Kirby Air Riders on November 20.

For Nintendo fans, the two headlines are no doubt Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment and Kirby Air Riders. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is the latest in the spin-off series that combines Zelda places and characters with Dynasty Warriors-style musou gameplay, while Kirby Air Riders is the long-awaited sequel to the GameCube cult classic racing game. Age of imprisonment is a canon prequel to the events of The tears of the kingdomwhich should give it more legitimacy than its predecessors, while Kirby Air Riders goes all out with online multiplayer and brand new features.
November is clearly going to be a busy month for Nintendo Switch 2 owners, but there's another big game coming out in December. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will launch on December 4 with Switch 1 and Switch 2 versions available. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on the Switch 2 has significant improvements over its Switch 1 counterpart, which should make the newer console the definitive way to experience the game.
