RIYADH: A water supply and environmental sanitation project in Yemen by Saudi aid agency KSrelief has continued to improve conditions for those living there.
From June 19-25, approximately 1,033,550 liters of potable water and 10,849,000 liters of non-potable water were provided in Hajjah. The project team worked in the districts of Midi, Haradh, Hayran and Abs, as well as the As-Ashour camp in the Razih area of Saada.
38 trips were made to remove waste from displaced persons' camps, while in Saada 70,000 each of potable and non-potable water was pumped through, benefiting 30,100 people.

KSrelief also launched a voluntary medical project for ear, nose and throat surgery and tumor removal in Mukalla, in the province of Hadhramaut.
The venture, which started on July 20 for a week, involves 22 volunteers from different medical specialties. So far, the medical team has successfully performed 60 specialized surgeries.
Meanwhile, in Sudan, KSrelief completed its urological surgery project in Port Sudan. The week-long program involved 11 volunteers with 119 successful specialized surgeries carried out.
