While the Wasteland Hulk could make its way to the game's store, it could also be released as part of a battle pass or promotional event.
Hulk is one of Marvel Rivals' Vanguards, meaning his primary role is to absorb damage while protecting teammates from damage. The character is somewhat unique, as he has three forms: Bruce Banner, Hero Hulk, and Monster Hulk. Each variant has its own unique abilities, with some overlap between the Hulk's Hero and Monster transformations. When starting a match, players play as Bruce Banner with the ability to instantly activate his ultimate to transform into the Hero Hulk. Players must then fill up their ultimate meter to transform into the powerful Monster Hulk for a short period of time. Fans have expressed that they would like NetEase Games to allow players to spawn as the Hero Hulk instead of Bruce Banner in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals Leak Reveals New MCU Doctor Strange Skin
A prominent Marvel Rivals leaker reveals a first look at a highly anticipated Doctor Strange skin inspired by one of his iconic MCU costumes.
RivalsInfo recently published leaked gameplay footage of a new Marvel Rivals skin on Twitter titled Wasteland Hulk. In his first form, Bruce Banner has a neon green mohawk, a purple vest with paint splotches on it, and tattoos scattered across his body. When the hero transforms, large spikes erupt from his back and arms, giving him something of a porcupine appearance. The new form is also incredibly bulky and less muscular than his standard skin. The video does not show a third version of the Hulk, leading some players to speculate that the large, spiky transformation is actually the Monster Hulk instead of the Hero Hulk. Unfortunately, there is no way to confirm or deny such theories without more information. RivalsInfo has been busy digging through the game's files, as they also recently revealed new skins for Marvel Rivals' Scarlet Witch.
Fans eagerly awaiting new cosmetics likely won't have to wait long, as leakers have revealed new skins for Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rivals. They believe the skins are associated with the Lunar New Year and have speculated that even more characters will receive similarly themed cosmetics very soon. Some fans expect to see a wide range of new items with the launch of Season 1 in January 2025.
While much of the community is excited to see new cosmetics coming to the game, many fans have criticized the price of MCU skins in Marvel Rivals. The popular hero game has released several top-tier original packs for around $22, while MCU skins with similar features debuted at $26. Some fans of the MCU skins think the markup is arbitrary and want NetEase Games to lower the price. Despite this criticism, many fans are clamoring for more cosmetics in the game's store.
