Summary

Marvel -Rivals has completely reworked Jeff the Land Shark, and players who are mainly not satisfied with all the changes.
-
Jeff's main injuries have been hit hard, his bubbles have been semi-nerfed and his ability to hide underwater is now limited.
-
Fans are understandably frustrated by Jeff's rework and claims that his identity has been lost, and that Netease has “lost the character” in yet another healbot.
Marvel Rival's season 2.5 starts on May 30 next week, and Netease has prepared us by showing up feature films for the next character – Ultron – while revealing new team -up abilities and balance changes.
One of the biggest topics that came out of the showcase was what seemed to be a great rework for Jeff the Land Shark, as he became a pretty funny “Jeff-Dado” which is a big fan of how the character is used as a flanker rather than a traditional healer. It was discovered that Jeff's main source of injury is changed to a resource that you have to handle, but it turns out that the changes were much worse.
Marvel Rival's fans seem all hate Jeff's upcoming reworking
Even before the Patchnotes were made available, Jeff Mains was all the downfall and gloom about the changes, but now the complaints have been multiplied after people have seen how different the character will play in Season 2.5. For starters, his main healing water stream will damage enemies, but he now has only three large ice blasts at a time, with a 3-second cooling for each.

Why do Marvel's rivals insist on making rank games more relaxed?
The new Chrono Shield cards will not solve Marvel Rival's competitive mode problems.
Jeff now has only three bubbles instead of the six or seven previous ones, and they now heal over time instead of shaving healing, but the biggest change is that Jeff's ability to hide underwater is no longer unlimited. Instead, the ability has an energy ceiling, and Jeff will be forced out of the water when it ends, which massively reduces his ability to cause problems in an enemy's team's backline.
All this means that Jeff is no longer DPS/Support Hybrid as he was in Season 2 and will now be more of a healbot. His ability to dive back lines has become fully kneeling, and Jeff players are understandably regreted with the changes. For example, a Reddit user named Throwaway-929103 says that these changes have “destroyed an already low level character”.
A Twitter user named Kanva claims that Jeff has now lost his “identity” and is generally confused by most changes in the Patchnotes, while another Reddit user called Businesabrocoma8455 called the reworking a straight Nerf and that Netease has now “lost the character”. That being said, we will not know how these changes in Jeff actually feel until season 2.5 comes here, so here hopes he has not been taken back and shot.
