Marvel Rivals is on his way to the launch of Season 4, which we recently discovered will be launched on September 12 later this month. To get us nice and hyped, Netease has dropped us all the things we can expect to see in the new season, with both Guangguang and Zhiyong Dishing Up the Good in a new developer diary on Marvel Rival's Youtube Channel.
During this video, we received the confirmation that the coming character Angela will be a flying Vanguard, as well as the announcement that placement matches will be in the line at some point. We also got to see some of the new team-ups coming to the game, and this is the moment where Hulk and Black Panther electricity grid may want to look away.
Black Panther gets a gamma-team-up
God helps us all
Yep, you read right. Hulk's gamma team-up is easily one of the most widely used and beaten team-ups throughout the game, and now one of the most used and abused characters will be added. Black Panther has been an absolute threat for a couple of seasons now, and he is about to become much more scary if the enemy team has a hulk.
When a hulk and a black panther share the battlefield together, BP will automatically get an gaming bubble as he sinks under a certain HP threshold, which will block all incoming damage for a short time. This means that a black panther will now be able to remove support, bubble himself if he takes too much damage and gets much easier. I feel for all support players right now.
Thankfully, there are a pair of silver lining. Black Panther gets at least one healthcarer, while team-up also has a 42-second cooling, so it will not be activated constantly. It is still a massive victory for BP players, and unfortunately will mean that Hulk will catch some straight and never see the light of day in ranked matches, especially when throwing gamma-masted namor in the mix.
Combined with Angela and Thor's new team-up ability, it sounds as if Dive can be back in fashion during season 4, and without new support characters in the next two months, I already fear Support Strike follower who is meeting social.
