Jump Festa 2025 took place on December 21-22, 2024, with news from many different Shonen Jump titles. This is the biggest event for the magazine, and Shueishe has held it every year since 1999.
Fans of comics like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisenand Demon Slayer the world could see all the stage presentations through the official stream on the Shonen Jump YouTube channel. But with so much news coming, it's easy to feel a little lost about what's been announced. So let's dive into the key news that was revealed during the event.

Jujtsu Kaisen, Spy x Family, Dandadan and more on day 1
Jujutsu Kaisen revealed a teaser for season 3, which will cover the game Culling. They also planned the compilation film that will summarize the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc from season 2 until May 2025. Meanwhile, the official account on X/Twitter posted that the final volume of the manga will contain a new epilogue. Gege Akutami also teased that they are working on a new project.
Sakamoto days released a new main trailer ahead of the anime's January premiere. For those unfamiliar with this series, it's about an ex-hitman who wants to live a quiet family life.
Dandadan confirmed that the second season will air in July 2025 with a returning main cast, and also released a trailer.
Spy x Family also confirmed the third season is slated for October 2025 and shared a new image for it, drawn by character designer Kazuaki Shimada.
3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-Sensei anime revealed a new trailer, but the release date is yet to be announced (it's slated for 2025). Also as expected, they revealed that the 2012 compilation film for the Shinsegumi arc will be getting new screenings in Japan this February. Maybe we can expect more information about the new anime that month.
Witch's clock also released a new trailer and revealed a two consecutive cour run (about 26 episodes). The anime is scheduled for April 2025.
Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku dropped new information about the second seasonincluding a January 2026 release window and a trailer. Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the series. The first season aired in 2023. Check out the video.
Dragon Ball Super manga has not been confirmed to returnbut it will get a new special chapter in February, focused on Trunks and Goten. Fans are now expecting the series to end in March. They also announced a new set with all 42 volumes of Dragon Ball with two covers (one standard cover and another cover drawn by famous manga artists). Two brand new illustrations featuring Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, drawn by Akira Toriyama himself, were shown at the panel, but they have not been published online.

My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, One Piece and more on Day 2
The second and last day began with big messages for My Hero Academia. The final season is officially scheduled for fall 2025, and an anime adaptation of Vigilantes spin-off has also been confirmed for 2025 with a trailer.
As expected, Chainsaw man dropped news about the Reze arc movie. It's now slated for 2025, and the main trailer has been revealed:
One Piece dropped big news. The anime returns on April 6th, so it airs on Sundays, but now in the evening. A Japanese-Chinese animation will air in the earlier time slot. Additionally, Subaru Kimura will be the new voice actor for Franky. A message from Eiichiro Oda teases that a new movie may be coming, but nothing has been officially announced on that front. Here is a teaser for upcoming Egghead arc episodes.
Blue Exorcist shared a new trailer for the upcoming Blue Night Saga, which begins airing in January. It contains the new theme songs, “Tsukaku” and “Overlap”performed by amazarashi and Shiyui respectively.
Kaiju No. 8 confirmed that the second season is scheduled for July 2025. They also unveiled a new trailer for the compilation film, which has been confirmed to debut worldwide. It will premiere in Japan on March 28, 2025, and probably later in international territories.
Finally, Blue box confirmed that the second course will run from 2 January 2025and shared a trailer of the new theme songs, “Shikaraba” and “Contrast”performed by Macaroni Enpitsu and TOMOO respectively.
