Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411 Preview: Yoshihiro Togashi Officially Returns

Hunter x Hunter is a legendary series by the iconic manga creator Yoshihiro Togashi. The series made its grand debut in 1998, but sadly, the manga has faced many hurdles since, especially with hiatuses due to Togashi's health issues over the years. However, even though the manga has slowed down significantly, Togashi is back, better than ever before, with a new batch of chapters which we are all extremely excited about.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411 will be officially released on June 28, 2026, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #31, resuming its run after 2 years of hiatus. HxH chapter 411 is highly anticipated, but due to the long break, fans may have forgotten the key details that unfolded in previous chapters. The Succession Contest arc focuses on the Princes of Kakin as well as on Morena Prudo, and the return of the series will continue to expand these interesting plots.

On June 22, 2026, Shueisha made an official reveal that shook the manga world. It was officially announced that after 2 years of absence, the Hunter x Hunter manga series would resume serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump starting June 28, 2026, which is now just a couple of days away. This reveal was massive, especially as Hunter X Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi has been a fan favorite ever since its debut in the magazine in issue #14, on March 3, 1998.

Hunter x Hunter previously stopped serialization when it reached chapter 410. This chapter, titled “Negotiations Part 4,” was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump issue #2 on December 9, 2024. Now, Hunter x Hunter chapter 411 is releasing in Issue #31, much to the excitement of millions of fans. At the moment, the chapter doesn't have a confirmed title, and that should be revealed with the chapter's release.

Hunter x Hunter Recap: The Succession Contest Arc Previously

Hunter x Hunter Recap Succession Contest Arc

Due to the long and recurring breaks of the Hunter x Hunter series that took full effect on February 20, 2006, fans might struggle to remember everything that has happened in the manga. Togashi dropping only 10 chapters every two years makes events less likely to stick in fans' minds, and consequently, a recap of the arc is often necessary to keep up with the events without confusion.

In the last batch of HxH chapters, there were many reveals, as well as the return of the current main character, Kurapika. Beyond Netero, the son of Isaac Netero, was revealed to have biological children, as well as a possible child among the Kakin Princes, which could shift the direction of the war. Previously, fan favorite antagonist Hisoka also made an official return after being absent from the story for years. It was also confirmed that the Hisoka fans previously saw in the story was simply a disguised Bonolenov.

In the last batch, the Phantom Troupe was especially highlighted, and Chrollo himself was the center of attention. Chrollo plans to power up massively through a treasure hunt of Kakin's National Treasures. With this power up, he more than believes he can destroy Hisoka once and for all. Near the end of the last batch of chapters, the story took a turn and pushed all the focus on the Heil-Ly Mafia family, which is under Morena Prudo's control. Finally, we got more exposition on Morena as well as her Nen ability. Morena's round of negotiations with Borksen ended in the last chapter, with the latter joining her.

Of course, within all of this, we can't forget the hanging plot between Prince Benjamin and Prince Halkenburg. Halkenburg is dead set on killing Benjamin through the use of his Nen ability that allowed him to fake his death.

Hunter x Hunter 411 Could Focus on The Kakin Princes And Phantom Troupe

With the return of Togashi to the Hunter x Hunter story, a lot of excitement is brewing concerning the upcoming events of the manga. A two-year wait is long, but we will finally be able to discover what happens next soon. There are still a few days until the release of HxH chapter 411, so we can theorize about what's to come in the chapter and the subsequent releases that come after. The Succession Contest arc is filled with a multitude of plot lines, and any could be explored by Togashi this week.

Hunter x Hunter chapter 410 greatly focused on Morena and Borksen, but it seems their plotline will be left alone for the time being, with the conclusion of the negotiations having been reached. Instead, the attention could go elsewhere. Togashi left the cliffhanger on another plotline for chapter 410, and that's the plot focusing on princes Benjamin and Halkenburg.

I can hand the throne over to my child!! Emergency Law Article 1!! “Sustaining the monarchy in a crisis” will apply!!! — Benjamin

Benjamin had previously declared Martial Law to wrap up the Succession Contest and win the throne. He has no regard for his own life either, as his true plan is to make his child the true successor. At the moment, he has just 9 and a half hours to live, as he seems to have been infected with a poison. In these nine and a half hours, the conflict will reach its climax, with Benjamin chasing down the other Princes and either holding them hostage or killing them off. We could also see Benjamin seek treatment from one of the many talented Hunter physicians on board the Black Whale for the poison. This could be a major time for Leorio to step up.

Meanwhile, Halkenburg's soul is, unknown to most, still alive in the body of Balsamilco, a close ally of Benjamin. In the next chapter, we could see Halkenburg get closer to Benjamin through this disguise to finish his older brother off, one way or another. This isn't going to be straightforward, as we still don't know the abilities of Benjamin's Nen beast. The powers of the Nen beast could prove to be a major challenge that could be explored in Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411. Halkenburg himself only has 12 hours to act before Balsamilco wakes up, putting him on a run against time itself.

Even if I should die… It's the very idea that will instill fear of the spider that I designed.!! — Chrollo Lucilfer

Of course, aside from the Princes, there are many other characters who might make an appearance in Hunter x Hunter Chapter 411. Most notably, both Chrollo Lucilfer and Hisoka are on the move, and things are going to get messy if any Phantom Troupe member runs into the laughter. Togashi has been setting up the end of the Spiders as of late, and the next chapter could be a set up to the death of one of their members. Bonolenov has the biggest death flags at the moment, being in proximity to Hisoka, so his demise could very well follow in HxH Chapter 411.

Hunter x Hunter chapter 411 by Yoshihiro Togashi will be released on June 28, 2026, and will be available to read for free on Manga Plus and Viz Media.
