How To Romance The Hex Syndicate In Warframe

Warframe takes players to the last day of 1999, where Dr. Entrati experimented on some human volunteers and injected them with the Technocyte virus to create protoframes. These volunteers are now hunting him to answer for what he has done to them, and you will travel to the past to find out what happened in those days.

The new syndicate you can find in Höllvania is called The Hex, a group of people struggling to keep their sanity as the year draws to a close, and with it, the end of this ruined city as a whole. Here's everything you need to know about them.

What is Hexen?

The Hex is a syndicate that resides in the Höllvania Central Mall during the year 1999. This group of individuals are trying to find Albrecht Entrati so that he can restore the Technocyte virus that is affecting them, and consists of the following members:

• Arthur Nightingale – Codename: “Broadsword”

  • The leader of the group, Arthur is a tough guy who wants to live but not at the expense of others' lives, causing him to clash a bit with his teammates.

• Eleanor Nightingale – Codename: “Salem”

  • Arthur's sister and the psychopaths of The Hex, Eleanor has an underlying connection to the techroot that no one wants to explore.

• Aoi Morohoshi – Codename: “Chopper”

  • Aoi is the mechanic and next in line of the group, the bubbly magnetic warrior brings the fun to an otherwise dark, grim and violent environment.

• Quincy Isaacs – Code Name: “Stepper”

  • The sniper of the group and a badass by nature, Quincy is a bad boy with a heart of gold who supports the team from afar.

• Amir Beckett – Codename: “Jitter”

  • The group's player and electronics technician, Amir is a Volt-related protoframe, giving him strong electrical and speed-based powers.

• Leticia Garcia – Codename: “Belladona”

  • The strategist and the group's only medic, Lettie is a Trinity protoram with an attitude no match for her amazing restorative powers.

How to unlock The Hex Syndicate

You will unlock this syndicate when you finish the main quest from 1999; after going back in time, you'll rewind the grim ending The Hex had during the mission, which will open up new opportunities for you to explore. This allows the retro computer on your orbiter to display multiple menus within it, and you'll be free to travel to the mall to visit each character and discover what they have to offer.

How to rank up

To rank the syndicate you need to complete bounties and farm Syndicate Standing. You will start at Rank 0 with a maximum amount of 5000 standing until you reach your limit, and then offer a certain number of items and Hollars to advance to the next rank.

Hex treasures

If you need some extra Standing, you can go to Lettie and trade her the following Hex Treasures (items you can encounter in quests and bounties in Hollvania) in exchange for some Standing:

Vendors and Rewards

As you rank up the Syndicate, you will be able to purchase various items from Amir, Aoi, Quincy, Lettie and Eleanor. These go as follows:

Amir

Amir sells Glyphs, Weapon Blueprints and Warframe Blueprints:

Aoi

Aoi sells several music add-ons for your Orbiter:

Quincy

Quincy sells Sigils, Glyphs, cosmetic accessories for Drifters, Weapon Skins, Captura Backgrounds and Simulacrum Backgrounds:

Eleanor

Eleanor sells the newly introduced Arcanes set. In the future, Eleanor will also sell Technocyte Coda Weapons.

Arthur and Lettie don't act as providers, but instead are the NPCs you have to use to advance to the next rank and earn Hex Treasures if you want to get some extra Standing.

Relationship And Romance System

Once you've unlocked the Syndicate, one of the retro computer tabs on your orbiter will display a retro style chat platform. You have to click on each character's profile and you will notice introductory messages that you can respond to; depending on your choices, you will progress in your relationship with that character.

On top of that, you'll be able to send them a gift after every chat conversation, and depending on what you learn about them, you'll know what to choose, which in turn will lead to better results. Lastly, you will also be able to gain chemistry experience by making Bounties; each prize will increase chemistry with a specific character, and that character will accompany you on the quest.

Keep in mind that the results don't have to end up in a mandatory romance, and you can choose to just befriend the members of Hex instead.
