Setting up a session might feel a little different than your usual online games, but once everyone is in the RV, it's pure fun on the go. This guide will get you and your friends on the same page, ready for the ride of a lifetime.
How to play with friends
To start a session, go to the main menu and click “New Game”.' This creates a lobby that your friends can join directly through Steam. You can tune in invite-only session if you prefer a private trip, or leave it open to your friends list for easier access. Once the lobby is up, your friends can simply click “Join” from their own menus and jump into your game.
It is important to note that RV There Yet? does not support matchmaking or public lobbies. The only way to play multiplayer is by inviting or joining people who are already on your Steam friends list.
If someone in your group gets a little too wild behind the wheel, you can open the menu and beat Escape to access the option to kick players from your session.
How does in-game voice chat work?
Communication is key when trying to steer a bulky RV on winding dirt roads. Happily RV there yet? keeps things simple. Press V to talk to your friends use in-game voice chat. You can adjust how loud your microphone sounds during Sound section on the settings menu.
If your microphone is not working, double check that your computer only has one active microphone input and that you are not turned off.
