At first glance, the Swamps may look like a region with nothing special as it consists mostly of swamps and plains with few or no buildings. However, there is an old church that you can visit to find a hidden locked door that doesn't require a code or key but has a loot worth traveling all the way here for.

How to open the locked door of the old church in the swamp

Players can find the Old Church by walking southeast from the Sultanask base towards the swamp region Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Although the building is abandoned, visit it to disable the second PSI transmitter during the Ad Astra Per Aspera mission. However, the locked door in question is not inside the Old Church, it is locked right next to it in the basement.

Reach the locked door of the old church

While facing the main church building, go left while crossing the swamp and into the cellars. After going down the stairs, you have to turn left and see the locked wooden door in front of you. The door may be locked, but no key or code is required to enter. It's much simpler than that.

Break the wooden boards behind the door

To open the locked door of the Old Church, you must go straight into the adjacent room. Players will discover one big crack in the wall in this room, and can see that the door is locked with destructible wooden planks. You can either throw a grenade at the door from the gap which will destroy the wooden planks and open the door.

If you don't have grenades on you, try aiming your gun through the gap. Try using lean to get a better angle at the wooden boards and fire when the shot is lined up. Once the planks are destroyed, the wooden door unlocks and players can enter to take the loot.
