How Palworld's Predator Pals compare to Pokemon Legends: Arceus' Alphas
Palworld's new Predator Pals has sparked debate over its resemblance to Pokemon, whose Alpha Pokemon from Legends: Arceus is a close match.
Early on, you won't face much trouble managing your inventory (unless you tend to pick up every shiny item you come across). But as you progress, inventory management becomes an important skill. If you find it difficult to manage your inventory, Pocketpair has introduced an easy way to expand your inventory locations Palworld.

Then each bag provides three additional slotscreating all four adds two more rows to your inventory. It is advisable to craft lower level bags first, as they are cheaper and provide the same benefits as higher level bags. Ultimately, unlocking all bags ensures maximum inventory space.
Bag crafting materials and how to get them
Creating bag recipes is easy and only requires a few types of resources. Here is a breakdown of the materials needed for each bag:
Type of bag |
Materials required |
Required production station |
---|---|---|
Small bag |
1 Predator Core, 20 Fiber, 10 Leather |
|
Medium bag |
5 Predator Cores, 50 Fiber, 20 Leather |
|
Big bag |
10 Predator Cores, 80 Fibers, 30 Leather, 10 Carbon Fiber |
|
Giant bag |
20 predator cores, 120 fiber, 40 leather, 20 carbon fiber |
|
If you have trouble finding the necessary materials, here's how to collect them efficiently:
- Predator Cores: An exclusive drop from rare Rampaging Pals, also known as Predator Pals. They are found on most islands, excluding the starting regions. Level 20-30 Predator Pals drop one Predator Core, while level 60 drops up to four. Feybreak Island is among the best places to grow them. Alternatively, lower level players can target the Rampaging Direhowl on Ice Wind Island or the Rampaging Relaxauras near the Bridge of the Twin Knights.
-
Fiber
: It can be made by using a crusher to turn a piece of wood into two fibers. Setting up a logging site provides a steady supply of wood, which can be converted into fiber as needed.
-
Leather
: Although often dropped by companions like Rushoar and Eikthyrdeer, leather is more efficiently obtained by purchasing it from Wandering Merchant NPCs. You can find these merchants in the Small Settlement (71, -472) or near the Marsh Island Church Ruins (428, -269).
-
Carbon fiber
: It can be made from coal or charcoal on a production line. Charcoal is easier to obtain by burning wood in a furnace. Alternatively, you can unlock a coal mine at level 41 for a renewable source of coal.
Among all the materials, Predator Cores are the most challenging to obtain. But as long as you prepare well and target Pals near or below your level, defeating Rampaging Pals will be manageable.
Be careful with higher level Predators unless you are well prepared for a tough fight.
