Players can either buy or discover decorative pieces that are used in their homes. Paintings are a great way to spice up your empty wall. The family heirloom is a rare and unique painting that can become softlocked early in the game. The only way to get this painting is to find it in Prolog before your game in Mirthwood begins; if you didn't collect the board during the introductory prologue, you can no longer get it in your playthrough.
While playing the introduction to the game where you have to prepare dinner for your family, wait until the city is burningand once you wake up in the fields, immediately return to your house. Your house will be directly to your right when you wake up. Inside your burning house, you'll find the Family Heirloom sitting on the floor above the table; keep in mind that there is also a loot bar breast near the bed, containing a Simple black cote, and a Health elixir.
Players cannot sell paintings. When in your inventory, you can find decorative pieces in your wheel of choice, next to your health potions. Select the painting from here to place it in your house in build mode.
