Despite underutilizing Sola's narrative potential, strong character writing and varied missions make Veilguard a great RPG

But if you can disrupt their synergy and separate the most problematic enemies from their friends, then Hauntings: Shadows Of Fortune will be over before you know it. Prepare to handle this battle with precision and learn the importance of combos with your companions in this challenging mission.

How To Defeat The Skeleton Crew In Hauntings: Shadows Of Fortune

Start your mission in Elvhenan's Haven and follow your map marker straight up a sandy road along a cliff side.

As you head up the slope, you'll come across a group of four skeletons standing along the right side of the road: The skeleton crew.

The Skeleton Crew members are each weak to Necrotic and resist Cold.

Rain Of Decay is a great skill to use when you have more than one member huddled together.

There is four members of The Skeleton Crew, each with one unique specialization which makes them an important part of the quartet:

  1. Knockback
  2. Projectile launcher
  3. Rejuvenating
  4. Sadistic

While each member is weak when isolated, together they form an incredibly dangerous foursome that you must separate if you hope to survive the encounter.

Which Skeleton Crew Member should you attack first?

There are two members you should target first to make this fight easy: the Rejuvenating and that Projectile launch Skeleton Crew members.

These two members are incredibly strong together and can decimate you and your companions if left unchecked.

The Rejuvenating member is especially important, as it will heal the entire party over time if not attacked.

But despite their strength, the best way to get these two close is to make sure you can take them both out at about the same time.

Use your skills to separate these two members from Sadistic and Knockback.

Gently position yourself to bring the crew members closer together.

One of the best ways to make sure the two skeletons stay together is through pushing them up against the rocks to the right or catch them along the edge of the cliff.

Getting close to the Projectile Launcher will render its attacks ineffective, making it easy to get close and slingshot this enemy for continued follow-up attacks.

Once you can group your goals, unleash some primer skills as quickly as possible detonate them to cause massive damage to multiple targets.

Keep moving and repeat the steps above to defeat the first two members of The Skeleton Crew.

With only Sadistic and Knockback left, separation will be key again, as you can lure Sadistic away while avoiding Knockback's attacks from above.

After some careful moves and tickling enemies, you will defeat The Skeleton Crew.
