How to build Guard of Fafnir Shield in Gorod Krovi
Guard of Fafnir Shield can be made in Operations Bunker. There are no other crafting tables, so you'll have to build one here, but it's still a spacious area for you to go back and get another if you need to.
How to upgrade Guard of Fafnir Shield to Tiamat's Maw in Gorod Krovi
Once you have the Guard of Fafnir Shield, you must get 30 zombie kills with it. You can achieve this by using R3 to get close to them, so try to do this in the early rounds because even if you don't score, you will get easy kills.
There will be a unique sound that plays to indicate that you have gotten enough kills. Now you can find unique purple symbols in three locations, and you can use Guard of Fafnir's fireball attack to shoot them:
- Dragon Command: Left side, when facing the platform to summon the dragon.
- War factory: On the right shoulder of the giant robot.
- Supply depot: Look up from the Groph cylinder to find this symbol on the ceiling.
Finally, you have to wait for a dragon to breathe fire on the floor. You need hold out your shield and stand in the fire for the duration of the remaining time of the fire. Don't worry, holding the shield makes you immune to its damage, but zombies can still break the shield, so watch out.
If done correctly, you will hear another strange beep. Now, take Guard of Fafnir to play, where you can interact with the guts of the dead dragon to place the shield. It will now rise up and become Tiamat's Maw, which has more health and damage!
