As spotted by Redditor Affectionate-Mode766 on the GTA 6 subreddit, Rockstar Games' YouTube channel has undergone a strange change in recent days. While the reveal trailer for GTA 6 has been at the top of the channel for almost all of 2024, it was suddenly removed shortly after the anniversary.
Using the Wayback Machine, we can see that the trailer has indeed been at the top of the channel for most of the year and is now, for whatever reason, back to just being in the list of uploaded videos. Some fans reported that it appeared for those who didn't subscribe to the channel, but it seems to have now been released for everyone.
As is always the case when it comes to potential GTA 6 news, we wonder what it actually means. It could just be a YouTube bug or the pin going out on Rockstar's channel, but it seems a bit boring. The most interesting possible outcome is that Rockstar has deliberately ditched the reveal trailer to make way for something new as a second trailer.
It could also just be one of many teases from Rockstar, who are surely aware that their every move is being watched by fans hoping that Trailer 2 will somehow make it out in 2024. We won't know for sure until something more concrete happens , but it's an interesting development if you're as excited as most GTA fans.
