Green Day is released Dookie Demastered on one Game Boy cartridge. While almost no one expected the Game Boy to appear in the latest video game news, the part involving Green Day may have shocked many fans as well. It's been a couple of decades since the last Game Boy cart was manufactured and released, so Green Day's announcement may come as a huge surprise to both the music and gaming community.
Green Day and video games are not total strangers to each other. In 2010, the dotted line was included Green Day: Rock banda spin-off from Rock band franchise that some consider a great tribute to the band. While many say the game didn't really break any barriers, some fans enjoyed the opportunity to play the likes of Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt. The game allowed players to perform various songs, including the entire American Idiot and Dookie albums. However, it looks like a song from Dookie may be making a comeback to a gaming platform.
