Fortnite Has increased the damage caused by the storm and the speed of the Storm Circle in the Battle Royale -game mode. Battle Royale is FortniteS classic game mode. In it, players will meet up to 99 enemy players on an island and fight for Victory Royale, while being slowly pushed together by a deadly storm that is closed in a circle. When Storm Circle is closed, players will be limited to an increasingly smaller area, which inevitably forces all opponents to meet.
There may be up to 12 storm circle phases in a Fortnite Match, but it usually doesn't happen, as players tend to eliminate each other before the last storm circle. As the match moves to the next storm circle, its area decreases and the injury that the storm affects increases. However, many would agree that the first storms pose a little to no threat, as they barely cover any area and handle minimal damage that can be easily recovered with one of FortniteLacked objects.
Fortnite makes major changes in the storm in Battle Royale
Fortnite has adjusted some aspects of the storm and increased both their injury and speed. LEAKERS has excavated the feature files and has been able to reveal the actual state changes. The waiting time for the next storm circle is now shorter (14 to 22 percent, depending on the storm phase), the shrinkage has also decreased – which means that the storm will be faster now – and it will empty twice as much health compared to before.
These changes did not go live in ranked Battle Royale and tournaments. It seems that the changes are connected to Fortnite Community quests. The changes came along with Power Rangers Lord Zedd Skin Announcement, who revealed that he had cursed the island. In its announcement, Epic Games used a lot of lightning and stormemojis, which made it clear that the two were connected.
The last phase of the Community's mission has begun, and the fans must meet to complete it and call Megazord. It is likely that Megazord will release his power at Lord Zedd and try to defeat him and restore the island and storm back to what they were before. Although it is unfortunate, as a player had asked for a more threatening storm in the past, these changes will probably only be live for a few days. But if epic games see that feedback from fans is positive, it can consider keeping them longer.
