Players can join Synced Emotes by approaching a player who has initiated one and pressing the interact button. While not all players need to own the Emote to interact with players using it, they must purchase it if they want to be the player to initiate it. While many players are digging into the massive Fortnitemares update, this Synced Emote change to the Item Shop and Locker was seemingly part of a hotfix. Some players are hailing the Synced Emote preview as one of the best small changes to the game in Chapter 5 Season 4. Chapter 5 Season 4 featured tons of changes, including new Mythics and subsequent tweaks to them, new boss enemies like Doctor Doom, and fresh weapons and items .
Since players were previously unable to see how these emotes would look when synced with others, this preview may encourage some players to purchase more synced emotes. With Epic Games continues to update Fortnite regularly, other suggestions from the community will hopefully be implemented in the future.
