Some say you should not play with strong Pokémon, you should play with your favorites. But one of my favorites is the legendary dragon, Rayquaza and Pokemon TCG Pocket's latest drip event, it finally takes to digital cardboard form.

Pokemon Pocket: Exeggutor Ex Arceus Ex Deck Guide
Arceus ex makes a good match for exeggutor ex in Pokemon Pocket!
Like previous drop events, Rayquaza ex introduces the drop event some mechanically unique cards, plus fresh reprints of important cards from older sets. This is a great way to catch up with your collection if you started late! Of course, you have to overcome some challenges to earn your prizes, and we have everything you need to succeed!
What is Rayquaza ex drop event?
Drop events are solo combat events where you are fighting a series of gradually more difficult AI-controlled tires to earn promo packages. Each Promo package contains one of the five new campaign cards introduced in that event. Rayquaza ex drop event introduces both Rayquaza and Rayquaza ex as a promo card.
Rayquaza Ex is a powerful new card that may be the basis of a tire Similar to the popular Wugtrio ex tire. But it is also the first ex Pokémon released in a drip event that is available elsewhere. Another version in the super rare style is available through the event Special Mission 2025.
Rayquaza ex drop event is running from 30 April 2025, to 13 May 2025Gives you two weeks to earn as many campaign packages as possible.
Rayquaza ex drop event new cards
Rayquaza Ex Drop Event introduces five new cards: two brand new and three reprints of cards already available. The three reprints have already had a home in the previous metas, so if you started late they can help you catch up with the early players.
The first new card is what the event is called: Rayquaza ex. Rayquaza Ex is a colorless basic ex pokemon with 140 hp and Draco meteor attack. It works the same way as Dragonite's Draco MeteorBut with a little lower injury. However, it is a fair trade so as not to require two energy per centers!
This is the first mechanically unique card introduced in a drop event that can be served in a different way. A single copy of the full version is available via the 2025 Special Mission Event.
The second functionally new card is the non-ex version of Rayquaza. This is another colorless basic Pokémon, but instead of doing 40 damage four times to Random Pokémon, it makes 70 to Active Pokemon, and can cause damage to increase if you are lucky to coin. While it is neat it is not cost -effective, and will probably not find a home in any tires.
The remaining three campaigns are all reprints of older cards. Froakie is a key piece for Greninja tiresthat may be more viable with the introduction of rare candy, while Farfetch would still sometimes appear as an installation PokemonManages solid damage while setting your Ace Pokemon.
Exeggcute is not as usefulSince the most popular exeggutor card, exeggutor ex, only needs an energy, which makes growth spurt less useful than the seed bomb, from the genetic top pressure. But if Alolan Exeggutor or Mythical Island version (reprinted in Celestial Guardians) becomes popular, it may see some play.
Rayquaza ex drop event battles
There are four different tires to play against, but To unlock each one you need to defeat the previous one. When you unlock more battles, they increase in difficulty, but the drip rate for campaign packages also increases! The most difficult expert matches always assign a campaign package.
You need event stamina to play these matches, but You only spend that event endurance when you win a match. So you should always try the hardest match you can to get the maximum number of promotional packages!
Event Hour Glasses will not disappear at the end of Drop Events, so when you have all the campaign cards you want, You can save hourglass in events for the next. This can compensate unlucky if you do not pick up the rare cards you want and the event ends.
Beginner – Rayquaza Deck
The beginner's deck has 18 Pokémon, of which 14 are basic and all of which are weak against attacks of lightning strikes. There is a single rayquaza in the tire, but with so many basic Pokémon it is possible that you will not even see it.
Although it is quite easy to beat this tire with everything you have lying down, We recommend an Old School Pikachu ex deck. Since the genetic top Pikachu ex needs other Pokémon in play, this tire is ideal for ending all battle information at once, so you can require your prices and move on to more profitable battles.

Intermediate product – rayquaza -tire
The intermediate product Rayquaza tires have some important upgrades: It adds a second Rayquaza, releases two Pokémon for Professor's research and picks up a single SKITTY/DELCATTY line that can speed up Rayquaza's energy needs. This makes the tire a little more consistent, But not much more of a threat.
Same pikachu ex -tires work well here, but You may be briefly on Stage 1 Pokemon to end the battle details. Don't worry, however: you don't have to win the battle (and spend an event energy) to complete it. If you miss it, Just start again, develop all Pokémon and admitAnd you get your reward.

Advanced – Rayquaza ex -tires
The advanced tire changes a rayquaza for a rayquaza ex, and picks up a little better energy support in two copies of Manaphy. Manaphys Oceanic Gift allows your opponent to set Rayquaza ex at just a few turns, while Greninja they can handle chip injuries for free for all Pokémon.
While the pikachu ex -tire works well and will end a couple of assignments easily, We recommend Meowscarada / Magnezone tires For those who require you to win without any four diamonds or rare cards. Both Meowscarada and Magnezone can do easy work on the entire tire.
Promo -Kvistito from April 2025's premium pass and illustration rare meowscarada will prevent you from completing the rarity -based combat task. Make sure that all Pokemon cards are at their lowest rarity.

Expert – Rayquaza ex deck
The expert tire cuts much of the fat and leaves only nine Pokémon, including two sets of Manaphy, Rayquaza ex and Greninja. Giant Capes and Irida make everything a little harder to take downAnd Leaf allows Manaphy to easily replace. This tire can actually pose a threat.
Your opponent always wants Manaphy in front of Rayquaza ex is ready to go, so If you can take out Manaphy early you can get some free hits at Ace Pokemon. Watch out for opportunities to force a switch, to even take out a froakie before it can develop is a big advantage.
Everything in this tire is still weak for lightning strikes, so Pikachu ex and magnezone both remain good choices. Just be ready to take a second shot at Rayquaza Ex, which has enough HP to survive an attack from either Pokemon, even with type advantage.
