Take-Two's big earnings call, where fans were hoping for GTA 6 news, has come and gone, and while there was none GTA 6 Trailer 3 for it, pretty much all the good news came out of it. As the most anticipated game of 2026, if not the most anticipated game of all time, fans are pretty much starving for new GTA 6 info.
What came out of this earnings call won't shake any foundations, but it will ease some concerns. It shouldn't surprise anyone that Take-Two has high expectations GTA 6and that's reflected in the five big things we've learned from the conversation (heard around the world).

June 2026 is a game drought and we have GTA 6 to blame
June 2026 has games, but no obvious summer tentpole, and GTA 6's abandoned May release date may be why the month feels so empty.
1. GTA 6 release date is locked
The biggest sigh of relief is what wasn't at the show: some fans, myself included, expected Grand Theft Auto 6 to be delayed past its November 2026 release date. If there was a time to do it, many claim it was the latest revenue call. That may or may not be the case, but CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed GTA 6release date on November 19 so that's a strong guarantee.

2. GTA 6 Trailer 3 and Pre-Orders
Ahead of the official release, fans are dying to know when they can pre-order GTA 6 and when Trailer 3 will be released. Zelnick confirmed that it would be part of the official promotion. New rumors suggest GTA 6 Trailer 3 is happening on May 26, which may not be the case, but marketing is set for the summer. Summer doesn't officially start until June 21st, but a few weeks before or after wouldn't be a surprising time for marketing to kick off in full force. What Rockstar and Take-Two do remains to be seen, but it should be interesting nonetheless.
3. Marketing plans confirmed
Zelnick also echoed that GTA 6 marketing will begin in the summer, which isn't exactly news, but it suggests that Rockstar and Take-Two haven't shifted to new plans, it seems, in the time since then. Of course, one could argue that the anticipation and silence is marketing in and of itself because it's on everyone's mind – even without trailers and marketing.

4. The Best Buy pre-order rumors were false
Recently, Best Buy emails went out to key content creators and laid out plans to drive pre-orders of GTA 6and some fans believed this to be a failure on behalf of a Take-Two marketing partner. Zelnick claims to have no idea where this came from, and all in all, it appears to have been some unusual mistake.
5. Big GTA 6 Money
Take-Two also predicts that its fiscal year 2027 will reach between 8-8.2 billion in revenue, driven by GTA 6. Stating such big numbers, when you are not sure of its release, would be an advertisement, so this is another confirmation of its plans to release on time. That doesn't mean there won't be a delay, but it seems less and less likely. Zelnick also outlined some possible plans for the proceeds from GTA 6anything from reinvesting, returning cash to shareholders and/or bringing more studios under the Take-Two umbrella.
