This is the era of peace and growth Dr. Stone anime when the spring 2026 season enters May. Senku Ishigami is finally free of the terrifying man vs man conflicts that defined the first two courses of the Science Future Arc, meaning he can devote 100% of his brain to expanding his tech tree, which is saying a lot. The last two episodes reveled in this kind of prosperous peace, and episode 30 of Science Future is about to do the same.
Inventing flying drones and radar were pretty nifty innovations, but all that will pale in comparison to the dawn of the computer. All anime fans agree that this is the invention of the 20th century, and Senku's team of astronauts will not leave Earth's orbit without it. So far, only low-tech baby steps have been taken, but it's a promising start, and every Dr. Stone God knows what happens when the Kingdom of Science gets the ball rolling with a new project. The only real roadblock now is deciding who will go to the moon and when they will return.

Chrome calculates another way to complete the moon mission
Senku doesn't mind playing the long game after Blastoff
Sai Nanami has joined Senku's team of friends in the Realm of Science, which had the effect of enabling Senku to an almost ruthless degree. Senku is usually a cautious leader and inventor who only takes risks under extreme circumstances, but this time Senku is quite brave – too much in Chrome's eyes. Now that Senku has a computer expert on the team and Dr. Xeno's help to build a real rocket and lunar lander, Senku is done playing games. Going to the moon is already an extreme step to take, but Senku doubles the ante by deciding to petrify the lunar team once there. Senku will make them wait years or even decades before rescue can arrive.
This will no doubt help shape the narrative of Dr. Stones 30th episode in its final season, and maybe beyond. The classic power of friendship is the only reason the Realm of Science has gotten this far, and it's the only reason anyone would agree to board the rocket expecting to be petrified on purpose after the Why-Man showdown. In Senku's eyes, waiting years for rescue when Why-Man is neutralized is no problem, but not everyone in the Science Realm wants to play so fast and loose with everyone's lives. Chrome, to name one, secretly objects to this plan and explains her alternative to Suika. This could result in a high-stakes yet low-drama showdown in episode 30.

One Piece's Elbaph Arc officially introduces the Sword of God
The Elbaph arc has fallen the god of the One Piece world, and with him is the ultimate sword, called Nemesis.
Chrome was one of Senku's first allies in the New Stone Age, and Dr. Stone fans have known Senku to keep his cool and be flexible if someone can give him a solid idea. No one expects a shouting match or broken friendships if Chrome objects to Senku's plan, but fans can expect other obstacles. Senku will likely find Chrome's two-way moon plan impressive and appealing, but whether it works may be out of both boys' hands. The harsh reality of space travel may determine the next course of action for them, and Senku and Chrome, not to mention Sai and Dr. Xeno, can have his own input to decide on a plot line.
Sai Nanami is able to help with the help of newly invented computers and the restored bonds of brotherhood with Ryusui to sort things out with Ryusui's expert leadership backing him up. These brothers are two of the strongest citizens of the Kingdom of Science, and with computers at hand, they can run simulations until the whole team can decide whether Senku or Chrome has the best idea – or maybe there will be a third day. Episode 30 is poised to settle the matter once and for all, and it's definitely something to agree on before the rocket is built and deployed.
