The action role-playing game that is free to play Diablo Immortal will soon welcome Lord of Terror Al'Diabolos, the titular main antagonist of Blizzard's popular series of dungeon crawlers. The powerful demon was an enemy that players could duel in all games, except Diablo Immortal and the franchise's latest numbered entry.

In the universe of Blizzard's critically acclaimed series of isometric hack and slash games, Al'Diabolos, better known as Diablo, is among the three Prime Evils who rule over the demon-infested Burning Hells. While the character was featured as a boss in the first three majors Diablo titles, they only made a brief appearance in the series' only mobile experience after the defeat of its primary villain, Skarn. However, it seems that the Lord of Dread will have a bigger role to play Diablo Immortalas implied by his impending “return” to the game.
